  1. Angle needed to beat HBK; he hadn't won at WM since 2002 and this was one of the biggest wins of his career (along with his wins over The Rock and Hulk Hogan).
  2. Well, I'm sure Shane Douglas will love being able to have the ECW Champion on his big event.
  3. Both men had very successful tenures in WCW before their WWE runs. Let's not forget Booker T's 12+ reigns as WCW World Tag champ and his 6(?) reigns as WCW Television champ. Regal was also very over as a former WCW Television champ and as 1/2 of the Bluebloods.
  4. If it does go beyond TNA, I'm sure he'd find a way around it, or at least buy a ticket to the show and be pointed out on-camera or something.
  5. Yeah, embarrasing your employer because of perceived wrongs (real or imagined) is totally justified. I haven't been promoted at Little Caesars in 18 months, so I threw some Crazy Bread at my boss.
  6. I don't think they can afford to fire him, since you KNOW he'll be at Shane Douglas's ECW show and probably defend the ECW title or something - it's too good for Douglas to pass up as a drawing card. On the other hand, if you keep him under contract and bring him out only for One Night Stand he'll probably pull a Paul Roma with whomever he faces on that show. My suggestion? Pay him to stay home, then cut him on June 13.
  7. The track is "Makin' Some Noise" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (from their 1991 album Into the Great Wide Open).
  8. What is the point in these Kurt Angle invitational matches? I mean, they've been going on for a while now and have pretty much lead to nothing. Are the writers so out of ideas that they re-use this same thing every week in order to get the number of matches up to four? Keep Kurt on TV and in action without risking damage to his neck.

    Draft

Oops, I was wrong. My apologies.
  10. The answer is Mudvayne.
  11. As a long-time Deth fan, this is great. I was expecting a big tour, but not a mini-Ozzfest.
  12. *reads title* You're a year early.

    Draft

Um, I don't think they're taping SmackDown! at the Supershow, since there's a SmackDown! taping the very next night in Trenton. The 'Raw/SmackDown! Supershow' thing is a way to let people know this will be a special event WITHOUT revealing there will be a draft there (since it hasn't been mentioned in storylines yet).

    Draft

The draft will be 2 weeks from tonight (April 18) in MSG. They've been promoting this as a 'RAW/SmackDown! Supershow' since tickets went on sale, so it's a safe bet that it will be April 18.
  16. I really think they limited themselves too much in the original design. I mean, there was no way they could make the set just about 'lights and bling' AND make it a unique and memorable set. Also, RRR, that PRIDE Bushido set sounds interesting. Are there any pics of it?
  17. I liked the set, myself. It had the 3 big elements in it (Hollywood sign, movie screen, marquee) but none of those alone could really be a great unique entrance set (we've seen the Hollywood sign-style thing at No Way Out and the big screen at SSeries 2002). Plus, I liked how the ramp was configured as a five-pointed star and there was a red carpet to the ring. Had they not used the the night before, I would have had those giant Slammy replicas in there somewhere as well. Also, I do believe that JBL and HHH may each have had the greatest entrance in the history of WrestleMania.

  19. Well, that invasion certainly made an impact.
  20. The return of the WM dark match~!
