  1. I guess I hit the snooze! Yes to an extent. I basically work 8-430 every Sunday. Have every Sunday, with maybe 10 exceptions, since Walmart started opening at 8 on Sundays(december 2003. Same day Saddam was caught.) And even on those Sundays off, I was up like, quarter after 8.
  2. Taco Bell's regulat selection? Good. How could combining them go wrong?
  3. hey, Sox and Mets fans have to stick together!! NY Untouchable summed it up in regards to Looper <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Who's in the centre of your pic, between Piazza and Jericho? Piazza in a BLS shirt? Maybe I don't hate him after all.
  4. Will it work? If not, what will help the Third World? Can it be helped? Your thoughts?.... I say, yes Live 8 will have enough impact to at least take a significant bite out of Third World debt, albeit if not instantly. Canada has bumped up its Aid in the most recent budget, but it hasn't quite taken effect yet because of all of the squabbling in the House of Commons. I imagine that's little comfort to Africa. I digress. The key is to offer a helping hand, not a hand out. Practical help. Give em a hand building wells, farming advice, build schools and hospitals or pave roads. Hell, pay teacher's salaries and give free primary and secondary education. There's lots of sensible ways to make the world poverty free. That's perfect segway into my train of thought here: A little goes a long way. Everyone could live comfortably on 50 grand a year. Before I get scoffed at, consider how much of the world lives on less than a dollar a day. I currently donate to World Vision, which doesnt outright give a cheque to my sponsored child, but helps them practically, with a smattering of the ideas I mentioned above. Ultimately, yes, the world could be poverty free by the time my kids have kids, or even before that. The argument of "Why should we help those corrupt governments" is, while not without some merit, a little bit passe, IMO. That's my nickel with 3 pennies back.
  5. This is kind of a shitty response, but: Sometimes teams just have bad seasons. If you look at the San Jose Sharks of 2002-2004: Won the division in 2002. Missed the playoffs by 25 points in 2003. Did nothing to get better in the off season, losing Teemu and not gaining anything. Won the division and got to the Eastern finals. Also, isn't this a little premature, seeing as how they're only 6 back and it's not even July? A week makes a huge difference. Granted, I've been saying that since April.
  6. And dill pickle. And all dressed.
  7. When's the last time she menioned something that wasn't herself or her kid? Miracle, as if no one's ever had a kid before. Crimson Idol's girlfriend covers that DVD up for a reason in my electronics dpeartment for a reason. And RB51, I beat you to the Gonna Wanna Gonne reference. 'They said don't walk on the grass'
  8. I've always been worried about WT. It seems like it attracts more poseurs than West 49. But I'd give my right eye to go to a Dropkick Murphy party.
  9. Hit the proverbial nail on the subsequently proverbial head. What's it called? Martin Lawrence's Bail Bond?

    Beer

You weigh 80 pounds more than I, and you stumbled to Erb's class after 3 rye and gingers...although you playing Cruising World in the pub with no hands on the wheel was classic. As for Canucks on the board, try Creemore Springs.

    Beer

A valid claim, but something just didn't sit right. I am indeed a lightweight, but Colt 45 is pretty harsh.
  12. I've heard phenomenal things about Schlotzky's. But it's tough to justify leaving the country for a sammich, though I once did it for Krispy Kreme for an ex. The border guy was put off by it. He wouldnt say it, but he blatantly wanted me to bring him one too.
  13. Eugene Levy is hilarious, but the 'geeky white guy dad' character has worn far too thin. Hell, it had by the end of the First American Pie. No need whatsoever for Mrs. Doubtfire 2. I hadn't even considered the fact the kids were grown, the first ended perfectly.
  14. Nope. Annika can't win, and to be honest, I don't know whos filling the gap between them, but Wie's too young, and presumably too inexperienced. I can't see her mentally holding her composure.
  15. He wins. UndertakerHart also had some good ones.

    Beer

What does malt liquor taste like? I have considered getting some before. I love beer--but I'm afraid malt will taste like shit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's harsh. It's do-able, however, if you eat something about a half hour first. I puked from a swig of it last year, but that was on an empty stomach. I won't lie, it's gross. But 4 bucks to get hammered? Swallow hard my friend, and hit up taco Bell beforehand.
  17. I had a weekend of being stoned while eating ice cream and soup, although that pretty well happens every weekend anyway. Missed Breakdown! live in Hamilton because of it, but being stoned for 2 days ruled ass. Got a hard on on the way to the DDS because of it. I was 14 at the time though, so bets are off.
  18. DDP vs Goldberg. (Nitro, Oct. 2001) Goldberg vs Lesnar. (WM XXI) Lesnar vs Benoit (Smackdown Oct 2003) Benoit vs Angle (Rumble 2003) Angle vs Taz (RR? 2000) Taz vs Tajiri(Heatwave 99) Tajiri vs Crazy vs Guido(ONS)
  19. I thought it was spit.
  20. Wins thread. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed. On the grounds that I sincerely doubt the words 'Yeah, you guys have clearly never raped a girl' have probably never been said before.
  21. God yes. As I learned however, and felt ashamed of, it's actually Solsbury, isn't it?
  22. I'll second that. After all, Bettman and Goodenow are lawyers. Plus, even if it is essentially sealed, Saskin and Daly are for more approachable.
  23. Canada Day is July 1. The day the BNA was signed in 1867. How is that bad name? If I say anything even slightly about what Americans can or can't do, I'm a terrorist Commie. Please don't piss in that pool. I'm sorry, but I don't think Canadian hockey's talent pool has declined, and I was offended by the idea. Sorry if I was kind of a wad, though. No apologies, Czech Republic.
  24. You should be able to hit it from anywhere, IMO. That's not to take away from a move like the Tombstone or the People's Elbow, and the anticipation makes for great theatre. But I prefer a move like RKO or the Mandible Claw that can turn the match in a second. To illustrate my point, the RKO on Taker at WM XXI.
  25. I can't stop listening to Hall and Oates' "Making My Dreams Come True". The damndest thing is that I have a hell of a time listening to the same song in a short period of time more than once. The buffer zone is usually about 3 hours. Two for Gimme Shelter.
