Narnia will knock off GoF this weekend. Has anyone seen Sarah Silverman's "Jesus is Magic"? I want to see it, but want a recommendation or two before hitting the art house.

That is the one of the few plausible scenario's for Gayda to be there and involved with Jarrett. If they play it like Jarrett is some kind of player, they will have ruined Gayda's debut. I really hope it leads to a Charlie Haas debut at Turning Point.

Isn't it the universal sign for vagina?

The word around other boards is Hemme's 1st year on her Diva Search contract ran up and the second year is probrably not guaranteed. WWE probrably tried to negotiate the second year, which is optional, at a lower salary and she said no. Similar to the Puder deal where only the first of the deal is guaranteed and after that, it's in WWE's hands. That sounds like the most plausible answer to this.

Agreed. That is why this news is out of nowhere. While she wasn't any good in the ring by any means, she drastically improved and gave a shit about doing good. She also had a ton of enthusiasm for what she was doing. The Playboy curse continues. Except Torrie, and she'll be gone in a year or less, bank on it.

That was sudden.

Wrestlecrap's Gooker Award Nominees Announced!

Probrably because it was the most recent of the nominees and there are still feelings resonating from it. -
Stupidest/Worst/Most Offensive Smackdown (Special)

Vyce, you hit it on the head for me. I am also not totally anti-sports entertainment and I know that pro wrestling in the U.S. has to have elements of drama and comedy to it. That said, I know that can be had without having to resort to death and shock tv tactics. It just gets embarassing after awhile. And Darthtiki, they were some neighbors from around the way that were talking with the wife and happened to catch what I was watching. -
Edited for accuracy. Burn. Second best Post of the day.

Meltzer's take on WWE wrestlers' reactions to Guerrero angle

Austin was actually at Eddie's funeral. Some people will think that means he had a very good friendship with Eddie seeing as Austin didn't even attend Pillman's funeral, but that just means Austin wasn't as attached to Eddie as he was Pillman, so he could probrably attend this one without totally losing it. That said, I think they were probrably just good friends/acquaintances, not on the level of Benoit or Mysterio . -
Kevin N. , eh? Someone angling for a job again? If those are real, this is further proof most wrestling fans have not fully evolved.

Edited for accuracy Post of the day.

Didn't he get into a fight with someone backstage over this? Actually Jamal got released for an out of the ring incident where he fought a bunch of cops.

I want to know Kurt's definition of "perfect health".

While a lot of the IWC dream match right now is Samoa Joe vs Chris Benoit, I think a Bryan Danielson vs Chris Benoit match would be more fun.

The reason Siaki was more over back during the SEX days was because he was allowed to be a character and got mic time to get over. He doesn't get that mic time now. So why are fans supposed to care what happens to his character when they just stop him dead in his tracks? This applies for everyone on the roster who doesn't get proper mic time. Siaki is good, but not great in the ring. That can be said about over half the roster. Still, I wonder if he's already damaged enough to where the fans will ever accept him as anything other than a jobber at this point.

I'd pay money to see 3MW come back at the beck and call of Bischoff and lay a beatdown on Shane McMahon. Since this is WWE, they will reunite them so they can lay a beatdown on Bischoff so they can further rub it in to Eric right before they let him go on Monday.

Meltzer's take on WWE wrestlers' reactions to Guerrero angle
Dangerous A replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
I promise you it is not JBL and seriously doubt it's HBK. JBL hates Meltz from the ONS ppv where he called JBL a dick and a bully for his actions against Blue Meanie and since Meltz takes a pro-Bret stance in regards to Montreal, HBK isn't very talkative with Dave either. I think it's either Benoit, Jericho, or Malenko with Benoit as the most likely and Malenko the least likely. -
Here is something I found interesting from the Observer site regarding yesterday's quarterly meeting.... If I were still doing the Danger Zone, I'd say that's interesting, to say the least.

Meltzer's take on WWE wrestlers' reactions to Guerrero angle

Do you have The Collected Works of Christopher Benoit on your bookshelf or something? How do any of us know what Chris Benoit's writing style is? Exactly. I don't think Benoit even has a small blog or anything to compare to so any of us saying it's not his writing style is just plain silly. -
Karl Stern did a review on his podcast on dragonkingwrestling.com and said that the book was a quick and good read, but after he was done, he liked HBK less. He said a lot of it is HBK justifying his bad behavior and changing wording on things. For instance, he would bash Shane Douglas swearing and using questionable language in his ECW promos saying they were horrible for the business and bad for kids to see, but would put over his D-Generation X days as "me and Hunter just having some fun" although they were just as suggestive with their words and especially their actions and gestures. Stern than said that if HBK were to have said in the book that he was an asshole back then and what he did was wrong, but was now a changed man, the tone would be different. Here, it looks like he's just spin doctoring his past as well as serving as the WWE rebuttal to Bret's DVD on the Montreal situation.

Here is a little blurb from the Observer about American Dragon Bryan Danielson that makes me admire the guy... That shit is fucking cool. Just a guy who cares about his craft and one of the smartest and most intense workers in the business today. I hope he gets a Joe-like run with the ROH title. That is some Benoit type shit right there in terms of him changing shit up so it doesn't get stale. Hats off to Bryan Danielson. Why TNA or WWE haven't offered you a contract, I have no clue, but they are fools.
