  1. Color me disappointed so far.
  2. Brennaman must be receiving notes from Plaschke.
  3. I thought I had regained my composure until "chocolate dragon".
  4. It's acceptable because you're laughing at ESPN, not Lidle. NYankees, Moore did attempt to kill his wife before attempting suicide. She suffered multiple gunshot wounds, but survived. Yeah Moore killed himself in front of his son, IIRC.

    Vault Red Blitz.

I normally don't like energy drinks (Redbull, AMP, et all) but Vault is surprisingly good. It wakes me up and keeps me driving without wrapping my work truck around a telephone pole. I'll try this. I assume it's going to be cherry.
  7. Jeter shows leadership by...
  8. You're an ass.
  9. I wouldn't mind Brandon coming back. I liked him and they certainly could have used him this season. Less Kyle Snyder is a good thing.
  10. I'd only listen to the first two songs on it. He's really fallen off now, IMO.
  11. You really think they're going to bring him back for another season? I can't see A-Rod being with the team next year.
  12. I'm thinking that Anaheim's going to want to lose as little as possible. You're saying that it STARTS with Santana/Wood. STARTS. Cashman uses that word trying to negotiate a deal with Anaheim and he'll be laughed off the phone. Anaheim was willing to part with them for Tejada...not Shields (their best bullpen guy not named Rodriguez) and another player too. Especially when you consider that Anaheim might actually play the Yanks in the playoffs...that's not really a threat with the Orioles...
  13. Not to the extent that the fans seem to think. If Yanks fans think they're going to clean out whichever team's farm system and get a good major leaguer on top of that, they're dreaming. No matter how many teams are wanting A-Rod, if the Yanks come across as desparate, they are not going to get what they want.
  14. Good luck negotiating with a dial tone.
  15. Doubt you'll get that much. Remember that the Yanks aren't buyers here, they're sellers. The fans seem to be done with A-Rod and if it gets out that management really wants to move him, they aren't going to be able to command top dollar for him.
  16. It's like a slightly faster Rathje!
  17. I think Anaheim will get him to get that big bat behind Vlad. They have some young players so they don't have to give up Vlad and I think they'll benefit from it. Of course, I might die laughing if we get a Yanks v. Anaheim series and A-Rod has, like, the best offensive series ever. Some ridiculous seven homer, 18 rbi series that makes Yankee fans want to kill themselves. I'd laugh.
  18. Or they could trade for A-Rod and stick him at second.
  19. TWO CINDERELLA TEAMS! NOBODY IN THEIR RIGHT MINDS PICKED EITHER OF THESE TEAMS TO ADVANCE! Should be an entertaining series that will likely set new lows for ratings.
  20. Give me $50.
  21. It's the same thing as last year when the White Sox beat the Angels and everyone was writing about Ozzie and Podsednik being the driving forces behind it, ignoring the pitching staff pitching (I think) 3 straight complete games and letting up like, two runs.
  22. Siegel would be more "Dane COOKS up something funny!"
  23. Florida probably would have hit 11 with our pal Hal in there last night. Once the Bruins are actually healthy (Jurcina went out with a staph infection and M. Stuart is still recovering from knee surgery), the defense is much, much better. Until then, they'll have to rely on a cocktail of journeymen and rookies (York, Dempsey, Lashoff and Sigalet). If you don't think Gill was that bad, watch him get turned inside out by CHRIS NEIL.
  24. Lewis is still getting on the same page as Chiarelli. Some of his lines were certainly melon scratchers last night (Axelsson is going to be relied on for offense this season apparently, while Boyes only saw 13 minutes, etc.) Add in that there were two defensemen in the lineup that shouldn't have been there (York/Dempsey was a fucking nightmare) and finally, the flu seems to be spreading through the team. All in all, a recipe for disaster. I'm not going to say that the sky is falling yet. It was one game.
  25. Or Artie Lange.
