The ending of the Orton/Edge match was indeed spectacular, however that barely madeup for what was otherwise a damn borefest for 15mins prior. I wonder if Meltzer in usual fashion will bash the matches he gave good ratings to, on his WOL.

Kerry gained a bit of momentum after choosing Edwards, but there is still a rumor that Bush is going to Drop Cheney and choose a new VP that will "energize the ticket" Also, don't hold out hope that the Republicans have something BIG planned to drop right before the election that could sway the voters their way.

What I found more funny about the "7 minutes" was when they would cut the camera to Ari Flescier(sp?) and he had this, "wtf, get the hell up, we gotta go" look on his face.......but really, this 7 minutes debate has been done to death, it is a moot point as in retrospect, nothing different would happened had Bush got up within 5, 10, 30 seconds rather then 7 minutes. There are a lot more important issues to worry about concering Bush and the War.

I always though Independent refers more to lack of affiliation to any specific political party, then whether your ideals tend to lean left, right or center........

I always found it hilarious that when the Porn Star shirts first started getting big when I was a Senior in highschool(at least in my area), half the girls didn't realize the "Porn Star" was just a company logo/name, and though they were actually coming off hip and trendy by wearing a shirt with "Porn Star" on it.........fucking bimbos.

I pretty much concur with everything already said. Basically those shirts were probably acceptable for the first 10 or so folks wearing them, but there are just too many out there now.

Debate shows are fun once in awhile, but after watching them too much you just start to hear the company line repeated. Especially on Crossfire(new style) and Hannity & Mr. Quiet. Can someone remind me again why anyone voted for Arnold? It just becomes more embarrasing by the day. I mean as far as all those groups that were "offended" well yeah they are probably just overdramatizing for effect, but as far as the comments themselves, instead of getting "offended" why not just point and laugh, and remind people this is the baffoon that the majority of this state voted in. To me the comments were stupid rather then "offensive"

Buckhalter QB: M. Bulger WR: R. Proehl I have concerns with Running back besides Clinton Portis. Anthony Thomas wasn't horrible last year, but I dunno if that had to do more with being the only decent offensive player on the team(besides Booker). For my WR's. Coles is a great yardage guy, but I a little concered with TDs, which is why I picked up Toomer, because he is basically THE GUY on the Giants. And of course Jerry Rice, he is such a great route runner which usually leads to TD production. Rest of the team isn't bad or spectacular. I am sure I will get some usage from the waiver wire throughout the season.

Yeah, so I am sure the usual suspects will hate this, and the other ones will like it. I haven't seen it, just the trailer, and since the trailer is text with "doom N gloom" music in the background, it is hard to say who specifically they are going to go after in this documentary, but nonetheless, check out the trailer, and when it comes to your town, check it out, if not for anything else, then to provoke some conversation. I was gonna post this in the movie forum, but because of the content, I am sure the thread would turn into political debate anyway. Plus I would tend to think us folks that post in the CE forum would have the most interest in this anyway. Here is the link to the trailer.....
