I agreed with a caller to the local sports radio show today that the Kings seem like they are still playing like it is the regular season, where they can just turn it ON when they need to and catch the other team by suprise. The Kings didn't come out with any intensity yesterday until about 3:00 to go in the 4th quarter. They have been getting wins so far just based on being the technically better team. If they can get past the T-wolves, they will need more then that half-assed effort against the Spurs/Lakers. Come on Kings......

it starts at $10/hr. Ok so in my 2nd/3rd day they switched me to something harder. I guess the company works on a variety of accounts, and they decided to train me on a harder plan. Now I basically have to actually fix problems in people's accounts, rather then just sit there and input data from a sheet. The only thing that sucks is that when you can't find an ID# you have to call the Blue Cross to get it, which usually means sitting on hold forever. It is actually easier and less typing then the other thing I was doing, but that is only when there aren't problems with people's accounts. There is no quota perse, but they say if the que is not empty by the end of the day, the company is fined, and they have been known to pressure folks to stay after their shift to finish the que off.(from what I hear) I however will have none of that, since I have class an hour after I leave work,(and with rush hour traffic at 5pm, it takes me ALMOST that entire hour to drive 10 miles to my school from work) and my schooling is certainly more important then some temp job.

Actually, it was never intended to be a sequel. It was just seen that way because of the naming fiasco over in Europe. It was released as "Zombie 2" in most of Europe (as "Voodoo, Schreckensinsel der Zombies" (Voodoo, Horror Island of Zombies) in Germany, and "Zombie Flesh Eaters" in the UK) due to the popularity of Dawn of the Dead, which was released as "Zombie" by Argento. So they wanted to capitalize on that. I thought Zombi(e) 2 by Lucio Fulci, was originally supposed to be a sequel to dawn of the dead, but the studios made them change the name and advertising because Day of the Dead was in production already.

We can argue till we turn blue about what Iraq was like before the war, but the fact is PRESENTLY, there are terrorists in Iraq commiting evil acts, and we need to root them out, 1,000 by 1,000, until they are all dead. I don't mind debate about the war, and debate about what direction we should be going. However, there is no reason for debate over horrendous acts like this, which have NO JUSTIFICATION WHATSOEVER.....

Oh and for my lefty friends on this board, please just STFU about how this death was about revenge for the mistreatment of troops. Just STFU, please. Once they captured this poor fellow, he was dead no matter what. This "prisoner abuse" bullshit, was just a convenient excuse at the time to use.

After work, on the drive to class about an hour ago, I turned on M. Savage, who was yelling and screaming that this was all Hillary Clinton's and Ted Kennedy's fault. I didn't understand his logic, unless he was still on about how "liberals are aiding the terrorists."

I just got back from the Arco Arena. My throat is soar, and I am just exhausted. This was my first ever playoff game for the Kings. I have a question, on the Bibby foul, was he arguing the foul and yelling at the ref, or did he just throw the headband in a "I just fouled out, dammit" type of way. I mean should that REALLY be a T, if it is not really directed at the ref or a player, it seemed from my seat, more like a frustration thing then anything else. How about the final Peja shot in overtime, is anyone trying to say there wasn't enough contact to draw a foul? Fuck Me...... The Kings blew the game in my opinion though. I just don't understand what Adelman was telling them to do, unless they just weren't listenting. In 3 out of the 4 quraters, Minnesota was in the penalty almost have the quarter, yet Sacramento never would push the ball inside, the FEW times they did, it brough success, but the kept settling for outside jumpers. Dammit. I am half out of it right now. Arco Arena was ready to riot.

Holy shit, talk about luck. My sister scores tickets to the Kings-Timberwolves tonight and then the school calls me and says my class is cancelled. BOO-YAH~! It pays to have a close relative work in a hotel where players stay at~!

well I know for a fact that Clinton's approval ratings went up when Kenn Starr started his shenanigans. I mean the main focus on what they HOPED would bring Clinton down, totally backfired. Yes it gave the right and late night talk show hosts plenty of fodder to play with, but for your average joe, most thought the whole impeachment thing was lame.

As far as quotas go I am not sure, but the other temps there told me that when it is slow, we aren't forced to go home or anything, we basically still get to sit around, and if any odd jobs come up like filing some returned letters, we will do it. Also, they said Fridays are ALWAYS SLOW, which is nice~! If what they told me is correct, I will be a good distance from the supervisor. Also another temp told me "we are allowed to check stuff on the net, as long as we just don't sit there all day on it" Still, I am gonna be hesitent to use it, unless I see a good number of other folks using it as well. And even then, I am gonna try to avoid people seeing me on it.

Troy will attract both crowds. I am sure they purposely worked in the love story to bring in the female audience. I, however, have no interest whatsoever in Troy.

I thought that at least the CGI looked good, and the vampire brides were pretty fantastic, but other then that, yeah I agree with what most people here have said. Too much material crammed in which caused WAY TOO MANY plot holes. However, sadly for today's youth who have no concept or idea about "the rules" when it comes to the monster classics, breaking all the rules probably didn't matter to them. Honestly I did sort of enjoy the movie, in-between trying to understand the holes in the plot.

What you have to wait for is, Winslow to sign. His asshole Agents(The Poston brothers) are trying to drum the beat of, "well even though he was picked 6th, he was #1 on some teams draft sheet, so he should get #1 pick cash" LOL. In general the unwritten rule is that you take your draft pick and look at what last year's draft pick in the same # was paid, and you throw in a 10% increase. Yet the Postons are trying to say this should apply to Winslow because of the reasoning mentioned above.

At Skins camp, it is going to be a heated QB matchup between Ramsey & Brunell, with the local media so far saying both look really good in camp. Also there seems to be a renewed atmosphere and a generally much better attitude that has formed since Gibbs has come back, especially since minicamp where the players got to experience first hand, what the Hall of Fame coach is like.

Quincy Carter reached his PEAK, during the first half of the 2003 season. Then after week 8 or so, he reminded us that, yes, this was Quincy Carter. They are taking a chance on Drew Henson, a big chance, so that obviously shows that they don't have confidence in Quincy.
