  1. Second the Wal-Mart idea - I picked up the 2004 Rumble for fifteen bucks as well.
  2. He's a guy they hired a month or two ago. He's been on RAW once or twice I think. Is he a wrestler? Or "staff"? He's the heir apparent to Jim Ross' PBP position.
  3. Phillies at 20? Wow, I'd like to see their ranking if they had 2 wins.
  4. Doesn't work. This link should work (removed some things)...
  5. EDIT: Results updated.
  6. Draft results updated. The Seattle Seahawks (Rant), with the 54th pick in the draft, are on the clock. 55. Denver Broncos - CanadianChris. 56. Green Bay Packers - Kahran Ramsus. 57. New England Patriots - HarleyQuinn.
  7. With the 53rd pick in the 2004 TSM Mock Draft, the Dallas Cowboys once again select... Maurice Clarett, running back from The Ohio State University.
  8. Actually, It's both the old one... ...and the new one... ...that are on sale for $4.98.
  9. The two shirts are marked down 80% as a clearance item (from $25.00 to $4.98), so there's your answer.
  10. Draft results updated. If BX doesn't show up, I'll make the selection for him (I already a player lined up for the Cowboys).
  11. 2001 World Series. Game Seven. Every facet of that 9th inning, regardless of whether I like the Yankees or not.

  14. For the second round, I decided to leave the teams without owners - not too much of an explanation for this, other than the group of posters that failed to show up for the first round. Pinjockey seems to be keeping track of the owners that *DID* make selections in the first round, so we should be good to go for the weekend.
  15. With the 38th pick in the 2004 TSM NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select Ahmad Carroll, cornerback out of the University of Arkansas. The Falcons look to address the future of a secondary currently occupied by patchwork players, picking up the 5'10", 195 pound junior. With blazing speed (4.35), an unmatched intensity for making the tackle and potential that has yet to be tapped into, the Falcons should be happy with this selection.
  16. EDIT: Draft results updated.
  17. Actually, the FCC are are focusing on Viacom, which owns both Spike TV and UPN. The company ordered the shows with risque content (i.e. RAW, Smackdown and MTV as a whole) to tone down their act for the time being.
  18. Television tapings and house show attendance are up - ratings mean NOTHING at this point in time (without competition, of course).
  19. Double-edged sword. If Taker limits his schedule to television tapings while being booked in a important angle or feud, fans will be disappointed when he doesn't work the house shows.
  20. Not the case. Several other current WWE employees have "smark" message boards.
  21. They credited PWI Insider with the news. Yes, but 90% of the time, you still credit your immediate source. He didn't include the source within the original article. He was quoting the article itself, and then underneath, he was crediting 411Mania, which is where he got it from - I don't see why you should get credit where they got it from, or else things would just be like a big chain. ... I just assumed it was common knowledge to post where 411mania received their news from, because they don't actually "report" news (which is also common knowledge). The original news is from PWI Insider. Credit them BOTH if you want, but the priority goes to PWI, since it's their material and 411 just gathers it.
  22. Well, the origins of Springfield come from....
  23. They credited PWI Insider with the news. Yes, but 90% of the time, you still credit your immediate source. He didn't include the source within the original article.
  24. They credited PWI Insider with the news.
  25. I doubt Meltzer watches much of anything on UPN, which is the norm for 90% of households with broadcast television in the United States. EDIT: The reason Vince fired Hardy in the first place, was that Jeff refused to seek help for his addiction to painkillers. Until Jeff does admit he has a problem (which he hasn't yet, from my recollection), Vince will NOT hire him back.
