  1. I was at this show in Philly. He jumped the rail and helped Tazz during his match with Lawler.
  2. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/million_man_march By DEVLIN BARRETT, Associated Press Writer WASHINGTON - Black leaders called Monday for a rally in Washington this fall to mark the tenth anniversary of the Million Man March, this time including women. Separately, the Anti-Defamation League criticized the lead role of organizer Louis Farrakhan. Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam, appeared with former presidential candidates Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton to announce the Millions More Movement in October. It is billed as a more inclusive successor to the Million Man March, encouraging women and gays to attend. Farrakhan, who has been accused of making anti-Semitic remarks in the past, issued a broad invitation that also took aim at the wealthy, his critics, and both political parties. "Millions More means we're reaching for the millions who carry the rich on their backs," he said. He also used the sort of provocative language that has prompted past criticism. "If anybody deserves to strap a bomb on themselves and give pain for the pain we have suffered, it is we. But none of us would kill," he said. **** More info in the link provided at the top. What do you guys think of this?
  3. I was wondering this as well. Perhaps we could call it the Family Guy Effect with people realizing there is a demand (aka money to be made) for the product.
  4. True, I wasn't a Cena fan to begin with.
  5. I didn't see the show, but it sounds like Christian is really becoming a star.
  6. I'm just curious if anyone has heard anything relating to a Halloween boxset? I'd really like to add the series to my collection, but I'm having a hard time justifying paying much for some of the movies in the middle of the series (particularly 3-6). I tried eBay and all I've found are either Asian imports or the DVDs sold individually.
  7. Your political compass Economic Left/Right: -2.13 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.13 I hate answering questions like that. Things are situational and it's hard to pick a definite answer out of a list.
  8. It never failes. Before I decide to call it a night, I check the latest threads for news and I keep reading about someone dying. This is unreal.
  9. TLC - "Waterfalls"
  10. I'd say that praying and wishing are merely ways for people to hope for something in their lives to improve without actually doing anything on their own. I think it's the idea that some other force will aid them. I kinda feel as though religions are like Weight Watchers. You go there looking for magic to happen, but what does happen is you get surrounded by other people who can help motivate you to actually do something with your life.
  11. I really appreciate this information on California. The idea of moving out there, from Pennsylvania, has crossed my mind quite a bit. Sadly, I know nothing of the state so any advice is appreciated. Being someone who's lived his entire life on the East Coast (Pennsylvania and Long Island) what are the differences that I should know about?
  12. You guys are gonna laugh at me for this one, but...I honestly thought the XFL had a chance to succeed when it was first announced.
  13. People talk about the Ultimate Warrior dying as though it's a commonly known thing. "Yeah, the second Ultimate Warrior, right?" People seem to have no doubt that there were multiple Ultimate Warriors.
  14. This is true. As a Philly fan, it would seem as though we can't get a single thing for Freddie Mitchell.
  15. I'm surprised no one mentioned Ron Artest jumping into the stands or the Philly fans cheering Michael Irvin being injured.
  16. This is why I wish WWE guys had a place like ECW to go to. They need someplace where they can reinvent themselves like Al Snow did.
  17. I certainly hope so. I've been a registered Libertarian since 2001 and it's the party that is closest to my beliefs.
  18. Lol, that's a great quote!
  19. All that thrusting must have some other benefits.
  20. Okay, so the guy had a good night on Monday. But, now people are saying that he should have won the world title at one point? Come on, I think this thread is really exaggerating here. It wasn't too long ago that someone would be cut and a poster would remind us all about dead weight such as Vis. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the segment on RAW, but it's time to ease up on the situation.
  21. I'm from the middle of nowhere in PA. An hour and a half in either direction will get you to either Wilkes-Barre, Harrisburg, State College, or New Jersey. Aren't I lucky?
  22. The best one I saw was a photo of a laptop. It made it very clear that you were bidding on a wonderful picture of a laptop and people still bid on it.
  23. "-- He said that Edge is the superstar who dumped a bloody mary on Amy Weber, as cited by Amy in this interview." Wasn't that rumored to have been Randy Orton?
  24. If only the writers could have been this creative, someone like Jerry Lynn could still have a job.
  25. My basic rule of thumb is: my likes/dislikes are almost always the exact opposite of movie critics.
