AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2003 TokyoX: Well, there are lots of wrestlers who claim Venice Beach, California as their hometown... There aren't any Floridians so far, but they've got... Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2003 NEVADA: State Pride: Rico State Shame = Kevin Nash and Sean Morley, those fucking fakers! State Neutral = The Godfather, he's from LV, but I didn't really care much for him.
MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2003 OHIO Pride: Al Snow Perry Saturn (minus that whole sex with a mop thing) Brian Pillman I'm sure there are more, but that's for now. Come on, some Ohioans help me out. Do the Beverly Brothers count from Shaker Heights, OH? If they count, so does Dastardly Danny Doring from Pepper Pike, Ohio (which is 5 minutes from my house). I'm 99.9% sure that was a gimmicked hometown. Perennial Wrestling Challenge jobber Ron Cumberledge was also from Cleveland. Plus, The Bashams from Columbus (Why wouldya gimmick that hometown?) SHAME: Jackie Gayda from Cuyahoga Falls, OH (Just pose for the pics sweetheart) Shaniqua from Cincinnatti, OH (No worse now than plain ol Linda Miles)

DerangedHermit 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2003 Long Island... Well we have Foley and JERICHO. Although you Canadians like to deny it, Y2J was a Long Islander first. As for shame, how about Brian Gerwirtz. Speaking of Brian, coming from the "It's a Small World" file, I actually had the same driver's ed instructor that he did. Even bigger shame for Long Island: Vinny Ru. Also, I think you can add both Dudleys to the Long Island one. Buh-Buh went to Half Hollow Hills (Dix Hills/Melville), and D-Von was born in Huntington. DerangedHermit 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2003 Nope, Chris Jericho=Born In Winnipeg, Raised in Vancouver, fathered by Hockey Hall Of Famer Ted Irvine~! GO CANADA GO~! Wrong. He was born in NY, even though IMDB lists it as Winnipeg. Another thing says: Although he wasn't born there, he was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and was married there. Fökai 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2003 HAWAII. A good amount of wrestlers grew up/were raised here - and of course, a solid pair of wrestlers were born here. PRIDE: --The Rock, aka Don Muraco (currently lives here). --The Rock II, aka Dwayne Johnson. (born in CALI, moved here). --Mr. Fuji (born here.) --TAIYO KEA! (born here.) and of course... RICKY MOTHERFUCKING STEAMBOAT! (Steamboat, real name Richard Blood, WAS in fact born here.) I'll find more as I do research.
Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted August 17, 2003 (edited) Oh, another Pennsylvanian...T-Rantula! I'd put him on the shame list. Yet another Pennsylvanian: Larry Zbyszko (I think he was billed as being from Pittsburgh). I'm not sure on Steven Richards. Just in the WWE alone, I've heard two different hometowns for him: Philadelphia, PA and Waterbury, CT. Edited August 17, 2003 by Askewniverse
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2003 Yet another Pennsylvanian: Larry Zbyszko (I think he was billed as being from Pittsburgh). Shame! Yeah, a living legend--whom no one has heard of. HHH opted to emulate him as well as Ric Flair.

teke184 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2003 Louisiana Pride- Jazz Dr. Death Steve Williams (He's adopted Shreveport, LA, as his home) Shame- Rodney Mack Karl Malone Master P Lash Laroux I'm sure there are more but I don't want to add people who were just associated with the state for a long time (JYD) or people who may be from the area that I can't confirm (Jake "The Snake" Roberts) Note: Found out Jake was born in Texas but I think he probably lived in Louisiana a significant amount of time besides his run in Mid-South, as his mother and half-brother lived there for years. My friend's girlfriend is from Lima and knows him along with a lot of his family that lives there. Think about it, why would anyone purposely move to Lima, Ohio?
