Guest wwF1587 Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 There has been fear in the WWE lockerroom that some lower card wrestlers would be cut due to budget cutbacks. However, Executive Vice President of Talent Relations Jim Ross has come up with a creative solution to keep more wrestlers employed. He rotates series of lower card wrestlers on house show tours, so that all wrestlers get some work in. While it’s not as much for some lower card wrestlers as before, most view it as a positive because it’s some money versus no money if they were laid off. credit 411Mania.com
BifEverchad Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 I WAS RIGHT! ::points at BifEverchad:: Yes, Yes... But that doesnt change the fact that I hafta go through: Mark Jindrak & Garrison Cade vs. Rodney Mack & Mark Henry
AndrewTS Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 Why the fuck hasn't Nash been fired yet?
starvenger Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 Why the fuck hasn't Nash been fired yet? Probably because they're afraid that he'll tear his quad right before they give him his walking papers. Still, if he's off for a while filming Punisher (and btw how many people here groaned when they heard that?) he's off my TV, so I won't complain...

cynicalprofit Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 Why the fuck hasn't Nash been fired yet? Because he Kliqs with the fans.
Guest The Old Me Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 Nash will be given some kind of backstage job, I'm sure.
buffybeast Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 The fact is (or my opinion) that the company probably needs to trim the fat in it's roster.
Steviekick Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 Of coures, their definition of trimming the fat and out version of trimming the fat are completely different. While we would dump Scott Steiner and Nash like there is no tommorrow, they opted to get rid of D-Lo and Raven.
Guest Choken One Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 I'd keep Steiner but only for a 1999 Steiner Revivial. Nash is good for a amusing laugh...
King Cucaracha Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 Whever he means it or not. To be honest, Nash is ok by me as long as he's kept to non-anger promos. If he's out there acting 'cool', then he's bearable. Like the Highlight Reel week before hair vs hair. Steiner is over. He too is bearable. But if they went in place of a Stevie Night Heat or Dreamer push, then I'd get rid of them.

Ironically, some of us want WWE to get rid of deadweights so they don't stink up the ring, though whenever a talented wrestler is being completely misused in WWE, we feel happy when he's/she's released into the Indies and being allowed a big moveset, better use, and better matches. Strange, isn't it?
NoCalMike Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 The fact is (or my opinion) that the company probably needs to trim the fat in it's roster. Albert would make a GREAT choice as the first guy trimmed.

Strange, isn't it? Not really, as Raven has proven you can make more money on the indies than WWE if you're a big enough name. Of course, Raven's also been a cult favorite for nearly a decade, so the same isn't true for all. But if a lower/midcard worker who was on TV enough were to be released, he/she could probably collect a nice paycheck by the indies and touring Japan, where they can also let loose in their work.
