Isn't that just MLW?

Anyway

Homicide (Great all around wrestler)

Super Dragon (You need an asshole heel)

CM Punk (Great talent you could build around)

Backseat Boyz (Solid Tag Team)

Raven (Need a name to draw in the Non-Indy Fans)

Guest Max Peter David

AJ Styles (The best worker in the independants right now, the franchise player.)

Christopher Daniels (A close second, my top heel.)

Homicide (Very charismatic, and his gimmick gets over easily with the crowd. Perhaps a heel turn for a program with...)

Low Ki (Hardest hitting wrestler in the US)

Amazing Red (Because no matter how much you love psychology, spotfests will always have a special place in your heart.)

1) (a & b) Iceberg & Jeff G. Bailey (I think it'd be easier to book him as top heel monster than Joe, just because 'Berg looks like the type of guy that could possibly commit mass murder and scare the living fuck out of small children, as opposed to Joe, who's big and hits hard...no offense to Joe. Also, Bailey's added on as a part of #1 since him and Iceberg would be as collective a unit as possible, and Bailey basically explains and sorts out Iceberg's silent motives.)

2) Jeremy V. (As he's proven in the past 10 months in Wildside, he can definately be the inspirational babyface that every promotion needs. He's pretty enough to make the girls squeal for him, but tough enough for the guys to dig him too.)

3) CM Punk. (Punk's promos alone could draw money in a perfect world. But he's also one hell of a heel in the ring, and would be a different dimension of top heel than Iceberg.)

4) Seth DeLay. (First off, guaranteed, he should be over on the indy Internet level HUGE in the next 12 months. He's gotten that good, and I expect the buzz will start as soon as he makes the drive outside of Cornelia. Now, if you build him on the undercard while the rumblings start, and slowly move him up while the hype gets bigger, you could have a 'Net geek hero and regular folk' hero all in one. But it takes patience.)

5) Rainman (I would have included Jason Cross in here, but I think it's almost common knowledge that, one trip to Hooter's, and Cross would be gone. The main event heels are more important to the faces, since they're the ones who get the faces over, who then go on to draw the money. Rainman is definately good making a crowd hate him enough that they fall in love with the other guy by default. That's the quality that any promoter should be looking for in a heel.)

Oh, and Jingus, it was only minutes and minutes away.

Well, fine then.

1. Bobby Rude (Excellent worker, but he's recently gotten into OVW, so I don't know if he counts.)

2. Scott Savage (Great, high-flying babyface the fans can really get behind.)

3. Sonny Soprano (I love Sonny. A big guy who's funnier then all hell, me thinks.)

4. Tony Armstrong (Pretty quick for a guy his size, and could make a pretty convincing champ.)

5. Lincon Steen (Can get really over with the fans based on the fact that he NEVER SHUTS UP.)

Happy now, Jingus?

All of these guys are local to my area (well, except Sonny...he travels up from Maine on occasion)...and since if I was starting a promotion, it'd be here...so those are the guys.

My Top 11 (why 5?)

*1) Hogan. Yes, it's bullshit, but I would hire him (should I have the cash) so as to definitely promote my promotion better.

2) Raven. I would hire Raven as I need someone who can play a deep contrast to Hogan. Yes, that would mean that I'd have a Raven vs. Hogan storyline. Take that as you will.

3) Christopher Daniels. Strong character, great heelish tendancies from what I've heard of, and very good worker. Definitely one of my top tier wrestlers.

4) AJ Styles. I'd need a guy that defines a true package wrestler. He'd be it. Definitely have AJ vs. Daniels right off the bat.

5) CM Punk. Definitely the "up and coming star" I'd try to promote. Probably do a Raven vs. CM Punk down the road.

6) Steve Corino. Heelist at the best. Probably would end up being my top heel every so often.

7) American Dragon. Need I'd say why?

8) Johnny Kashmere. Tag Team specialist.

9) Trent Acid. Tag Team specialist.

10) Matt Stryker. Need a team to compliment Backseat Boyz.

11) Chad Collyer. Need a team to compliment Backseat Boyz.

* this is assuming of course, I can nail Hogan. If not, then it's a best of 10.

Who hasn't wrestled for ROH, MLW, IWA-MS, or CZW?

Eh, I'll do a local one

I'd book:

Tag Teams:

1. Excalibur/Disco Machine (give Excalibur the mic and let him run)

2. Scorpio Sky/Quicksilver (tons of Potental)

3. Bobby Quance/Jardi Frantz (Could breakout big time if pushed right)

4. Joey Ryan/Scott Lost

5. Havana Pitbulls

Younger talent:

6. Silver Tyger (really good flyer)

7. Chris Bosh

8. Zokre

9. Vito Thomaseli

10. Kaos (of XPW Fame)

American Dragon has only been mentioned twice.

This saddens me. :(

I suppose I'd take Dragon, Raven, Low Ki....

These aren't in any particular order.

1. Trent Acid- like him or not, the guy screams "superstar" out of every pore, and is a clutch player when it comes to making marquee matches good.

2. Samoa Joe- not so much as a world title contender, but every promotion needs a big tough badass who could conceivably take out anybody at will.

3. Salvatore Rinauro- having FINALLY seen some of this guy's work, he's the perfect midcard/uppercard heel to get a crowd worked up. Reminds me a lot of WCW-era Chris Jericho.

4. XES 69 - you need a young, athletic, crazy babyface with the "superstar look" for the ladies to get moist over.

5. Super Dragon -the guy is just such a total heel, it's amazing.

Jacobs just has a gimmick that automatically gets over and will add heat to a match.

I like what I've seen from Shelley though- He was great at Border City

I went to a BCW show in September-

D-Lo v. Synn, Sabin v. Young and Hacksaw/Anvil v. two local guys were the big matches.

Shelley worked a three-way with Tyson Dux and someone else.
