My question: Would the WWE Women's Division benefit from someone from WOW joining their ranks? Perhaps Riot (who despite the grunge look I thought looked hot) comes in as a female heel? The reason I'm asking is (besides I have nothing better to do right now) because I'm trying to keep the division from becoming TOO stale. ...and because I know I'd mark out if Riot came out and powerbombed Lita for no reason.
jester Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 Riot ruled. She almost had that Austin vibe going (well, by WOW's low standards anyway). She was a heel everyone loved. I could see a few WOW wrestlers doing ok in WWE. Terri Gold, but she needs to revise her gimmick. Apparently Selena Majors and Thug trained everyone there, so they might be useful in that regard. I can't see them letting them wrestle though. They just don't have the looks. But the one thing that has to happen is LAWLER HAS TO SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT PUPPIES. I don't need Lawler to tell me that Trish has a nice rack. That I can see. They should concentrate on their skills and trying to put over whatever feud they have on.

I do not want to see the WOW stars in WWE no or ever as the characters were too over the top with stupid gimmicks like the Farmers Daughter or Biker Bytch or Jungle Girl (Chuck Palumbo's sister)

Not to mention that Jungle Grrl aka Ericia Porter is working her BUTT off in UPW (and they call up Nathan F-ing Jones instead?). I don't think she's Palumbo's sister, razazteca, where did you hear that? So why... WHY... are we even looking to the WOW girls at all?

Plus, WWE isn't even making use of all the women now, so whoever would be signed would just be sitting around doing nothing most of the time, or would get a big push for a while, then be depushed for more of Trish or Lita.

Ofcourse they would get a stereotyped gimmick and angle and jerry lawler would continually call them men even though there workrate is 10 times better than lawler's has ever been. Oh how great it would be to see the likes of Aja Kong, Megumi Kudoh, Mariko Yoshida or even AKINO. Hell if they had treated Monster Ripper great in 95 surely she could have gotten something good out of Alundra Blayze.

And using her mirror as a weapon = awesome. Her feud with Ice (or something along the lines of that) was awesome. Ending with Lana shaving Ice's head.

That way it's still a novelty act. I don't mean that in a bad way, but they don't necessarily draw. However, there segments usually have better ratings and i am a fan of them. I just don't want to see them overexposed.

Even Terri Gold's gimmick, a basic female Kurt Angle, was played STRAIGHT. We were supposed to buy her as an all-American face. She'd get laughed out of an arena if she tried that with WWE. And yes, though many of them were green as grass, I would still like to see them in WWE. Victoria and Riot would make a great heel tag team.
