can anyone tell me what happened to Dean Malenko? i was a big Malenko fan when he was in wCw but i wasn't following wrestling during the time that he was in the WWE.

i know he still works for the WWE as a road agent but why did he retire from the ring? was it a serious injury or did he just lose interest? also, how was his WWE run? i'm assuming they didn't use him very well because of his size.

is he in any condition to get back into the ring? he probably wouldn't, but that would be nice to see him come back for a match or two. the texas cloverleaf is one of my all time favorite moves.

Dean is a small wrestler with no mic skills, what did you expect WWE to do with him?

Put him in a womanizing gimmick and...

...nevermind

The womanizing gimmick worked well for him, it's just a shame that they never let him run with it.

Remember when he was wrestling Jerry Lawler just so he could have sex with Terri? That was sort of funny.

Dean Malenko might just be the most underrated wrestler ever.

The highlight of his WWF career was April-May 2000. Great singles match with Scotty at Backlash and a good 3-way at Judgement Day with Guerrero and Saturn.

The Radicals were probably one of the grestest workrate stables ever. You had Benoit, Guerrero, Malenko, and Saturn. It's too bad they were turned into lackeys of Triple H...

I went to an HWA show right after Dean retired. He was there RAing for a few of the WWE guys who were working off some ring rust after injury. It was great. Before, during and after the show, he kept poking his head out of the curtain to see what was happening. Someone would see him and let out a yell, that would lead to a huge pop, that would lead to him smiling, blushing and ducking back behind the curtain.

Good times...

Deano was a great ladies man....

I remember when he was waiting for Lita on his bed with his socks stil on....

CLASS!

Yeah, that was when Lita's breast were three times the size they are now.

Deano Machino retired at the 2001 Brian Pillman memorial show. He's now just road agenting.

Darn tootin, and I was there. Malenko and Saturn vs Credible and Raven.

*Ahem* ...and who drove?

I thought the Ladies Man Malenko gimmick was great. Showed a whole new side to him.

Yeah, well who slept on the way back?...well, all of us but the driver I guess.

I liked his gimmick where he was trying to nail Lita every week. I'd like to see him back on tv somehow
