DVDs usually come out about 6 months after the movie's theatrical release.

At least this is better than the woman who came into Circuit City asking if we carried Brother Bear on DVD three days after it opened.

I'm PLANNING on waiting till both parts are released together. However, I'm expecting them to pull a LOTR and put different extras on each, so there's reason for some people to buy part 1, part 2 and the combo.

working at Blockbuster is not much better. 2 months before X-men 2, they were asking if we had it. A bunch of people rented X-men 1.5 convinced it was what happens in between 1 and 2.

Tons of people, some lady called on some smaller title, asking why we didn't have it when she saw it in the theaters just last night. Working in a video store taught me there are many people I am surprised can function in the real world.

February 3rd

Tarantino has said in an interview that they'll be doing the Lord of the Rings deal where there will a Vol.1 release, a Vol.2 release, and a third one with both films.

He didn't mention if the third release would combine it back into one movie or not.

I've heard that he now considers Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 to be seperate films.

This used to be true, but now they are getting less and less. Hulk came out on DVD a mere three months after being in theaters.

I had to convince this family at Blockbusterthat the copy of Stuart Little they were renting wasn't Stuart Little 2. I figured the fact that it said Stuart Little on the cover and not Stuart Little 2 was enough, but whatever.
