perhaps you all have heard of many of these people and I'm just clueless...

...but why is it that all the new talent the WWE hires no one has ever heard of?

They seemingly hire all these random, talent-less fucks, send them to OVW, where they are kept for 24 years (under a man who is in many ways the complete opposite of Vince and the current WWE,) then they come to the WWE, still crappy, old, and no one cares about them, whatsoever.

She's got the sex appeal of Meatloaf on estrogen supplements.

the singer or the food?

Well...Meatloaf (food) looks rather tasty. She looks like the consequence of eating Meatloaf.

I'll go with the latter.

So, no one knows how good she is? I personally love how girls are signed based on looks, and then are trained after they're hired. Whatever.

So are the guys, so whats the difference?

Under the "Stats" section of her page, itllists her "special skills". One of them is that she can drive a stick shift. No wonder Vince hired her.

Preach on...brotha....preach on! :headbang:

Well, they have Lilian and Rue as announcers already, and now they finally have a token Latina wrestler.

I guess hiring a talentless latina bimbo is a step above hiring a talentless blonde bimbo somewhat. Maybe they'll put her on SD and fire Torrie.

She's hot, lets just hope she'll turn out better than Torrie or Gail.

They're both pretty damn terrible. The difference is that Gail fucks up all her moves, and Torrie doesn't really know any moves to fuck up except for a neckbreaker.

HSJ has just inadvertently depressed me, as this chick probably has a far, far greater chance of debuting on WWE TV LONG before we ever see Alexis again.

So.... wait, they released Daffney and replace her with an unknown Latina? Wow. WWE Logic at its finest.

Maybe they see the possibility of appealing to the Latino demographic by signing an attractive Hispanic woman.

No one knows what charisma she may, or may not, have. It takes someone with a great amount of charisma to cross over. Maybe Vince has seen something in her that she saw in Trish, since both were fitness models.

And by the way, Trish is probably the third best women wrestler in the WWE, despite knowing nothing when she stepped in about three years ago.

I'm starting the book now on how long it is before she gets some new 'enhancements'...

You kidding?

She probably became a high C to a low D-cup the minute Vince hired her.

Or she has a really nice ass and won't need them.

God damn you Vince for making me feel shallow.

Investing in the future

Of course, the future is not in womens wrestling, but let them have their fun; it's only the fans who will suffer.

Yeah, cause fans ignore the shit out of Trish ... and Lita... and Victoria... and Molly.

Fans =/= You.

Anyway, the money in wrestling is about becoming a diverse product as much as possible. Bringing in a Latin women (regardless of actual skill) is not a horrible move simply because she draws on a demographic that WWE doesn't yet have its finger in.

Yes, because that is all based on their wrestling... their horrible, horrible, wrestling.

Like the WWE has been all about wrestling ... ever?

Don't get me wrong, fans like good wrestling (Benoit). They also like characters (Hulk Hogan, The Rock) and eye candy (Sable, Stacy) and all sorts of other stuff too. Pulling all of these things together is what a good wrestling organization should do. Providing one thing even if you're the best in the world at it, doesn't usually translate into a long shelf life.
