Mrnoitaull Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 I was bored so I decided to make this thread plus maybe I may wanna check out some of the opinions. Mine's so far has been Terminator 2, nothin has topped it.IMO cant think of any mentions
BlackFlagg Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 off hand....Godfather 2, T-2 as you said, X-2, Back to the Future 2 Would say Empire Strikes Back & Two Towers but technically they're not sequels.
Youth N Asia Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 I don't know if people consider it a sequal. But Dawn of The Dead is one of my all time favorites, and definatly my favorite horror film
Insane Bump Machine Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Aliens Back To The Future II Dead Or Alive - Birds Evil Dead II Godfather II The Two Towers Extended Edition From Russia With Love Once Upon A Time In China II The Empire Strikes Back T-2: Judgment Day Vampire Hunter D - Bloodlust X-2 Honorable mention to Final Destination II, which really surprised me Most disappointing sequels I can think of right now: Battle Royale II Mein in Black II Mission: Impossible II
Guest EQ Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 T2, X2, Superman II, Desperado (sequel to El Mariachi), Empire Strikes Back
razazteca Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 I don't know if people consider it a sequal. But Dawn of The Dead is one of my all time favorites, and definatly my favorite horror film Well using your logic I would have to say Legend of the Fist which is a retelling of the classic Bruce Lee movie Fist of Fury/Chinese Connection.
CanadianChris Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade Rocky II Rocky III
Corey_Lazarus Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Aliens Terminator 2 RoboCop 2 X2: X-Men United Citizen Toxie: Toxic Avenger IV Bride Of Chucky Evil Dead II Army Of Darkness Ghostbusters 2 (okay, not as good as the original, but definitely a good sequel) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret Of The Ooze (see above)
spiny norman Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 While I think Terminator 2 was absolutely awesome, Edward Furlong's character just really annoyed me. Why couldn't the little turd just die already? Aliens The Godfather Part Two Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade The Good, The Bad And The Ugly (only one of these I'd consider better than those before it, but it may not even be considered a sequel) Psycho II, Psycho III and Psycho IV (what a series, each one topping its predecessor)
Guest El Satanico Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 I don't know if people consider it a sequal. But Dawn of The Dead is one of my all time favorites, and definatly my favorite horror film Well using your logic I would have to say Legend of the Fist which is a retelling of the classic Bruce Lee movie Fist of Fury/Chinese Connection. What logic are you talking about? What does mentioning Dawn of The Dead have to do with mentioning a retelling of a Bruce Lee movie? If Legend of the Fist isn't a sequel to Fist of Fury/Chinese Connection, it doesn't count as a sequel.
notJames Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 While I think Terminator 2 was absolutely awesome, Edward Furlong's character just really annoyed me. Why couldn't the little turd just die already? Agreed. He made me wish for his death the way Evie did in Thirteen. Petulant teenagers rile up my blood to no end. Empire is my all-time favourite sequel, although X-2: X-Men United is a very very very close second. Very.
Guest thebigjig Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 The Godfather part II is the KING of all sequels
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 From Russia With Love Batman Returns Godfather II Empire Strikes Back Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Godfather II. Its so good, he just seems liek I'm still watching the first Godfather. The story flows so well and it tells such an amazing story in 3 hours. Godfather 3 stumbled because the story really didn't seem to fit with the first two movies. T2 is a great movie, but again, it didn't fit perfectly with the first one. I didn't like how Ahnald came back as good guy after being the super duper bad ass. I dunno, maybe I'm missing something...
Zack Malibu Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Grease 2. Shut the fuck up, it ruled.
Youth N Asia Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Grease 2. Shut the fuck up, it ruled. Grease 2 was total balls! The first was good for what it was. But the 2nd one was rancid.
Guest EQ Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Yeah, Zack! Stop tying to appeal to the girls on the board, you whore!
RavishingRickRudo Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 WAR: It's FAN-tastic! Hot Shots: Part Deux What other film has Charlie Sheen, Lloyd Bridges, and Ryan Styles?
Youth N Asia Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Young Guns 2 is a solid sequel. Billy: "Should we give him a proper burial?" *Billy, Dave, and Pat start kicking dirt onto the dead guy*
Guest Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Ghostbusters 2[/i] (okay, not as good as the original, but definitely a good sequel) Seeing as my friend's dad (Ray Parker Jr.) happens to sing the song for the original....I like it too.
Guest EQ Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Ghostbusters (both of them) are good
Guest Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Too bad I never met my friend's dad. That would be pretty cool.
RavishingRickRudo Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Though "Ghostbusters" had the funky beat and the phrase "bustin makes me feel good", IMO "On our Own" by Bobby Brown is better than "Ghostbusters". "Too hot to handle, too cold to hold They're the ghostbusters and they're incontrol. Had em throwin a party, for a bunch of children, All the while, Slimer's up in the buildin'"
Guest Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 In good conscience, I can't say it was better.
HarleyQuinn Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 I'll 2nd Batman Returns, somewhat underrated Bat film
