{''({o..o})''} 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2004 I still think that this match should be worked out enough before hand like Warrior/Hogan to the point that it will be an entertaining powerfest. I definately am eager to see what happens with this match, and not in a "how bad can it be" way.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 24, 2004 Could this lead to a million 'biz-exposing' no sells at WMXX with Billberg? He was selling as early as No Way Out, so I doubt it. I do want to see them stiff each other to hell, though. If friggin' Jericho could bring him down with techincal wrestling, Brock should be able to tie him in knots. I think Billbergs tantrums and bitch-behavior gives this match a decent chance at having some shoot-y moments. The Bearded One certainly could try pulling some bullshit... Either way, it should be a very interesting match...it is one of the main reasons Im seriously considering watching this ppv. Does Goldbeard even have the emotional desire to ONE UP Lesnar here? He wants the money and the billing and he'll get that...He'll likely politic to reduce Brock kicking out of 4 Jackhammers to 2 hammers.
Austin3164life 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2004 How stupid "Such-and-such wrestler seems to have an inflated ego backstage". Who doesn't have an ego when they're a legit main eventer? Old news.
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2004 Does Goldbeard even have the emotional desire to ONE UP Lesnar here? RAAAAR! EVERYONE SELLS FOR BILLY GRAYBEARD! BILLY GREYBEARD WILL NOT LEAVE NORTH AMERICA WRESTLING SCENE LOOKING LIKE A FOOL! BRET HART KICKS FOR YOU! Good for Brock. He has no neck for his head to be kicked off of. Adam 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2004 Is it wrong that I don't care about anything to do with Goldberg? I'm now past hating the guy, I just litterally do not care about him one way or the other. If he comes on my TV screen, I'll probably change the channel, because I just dont give a stuff about him at all. And whose to say that Goldberg won't screw around with the script and kick out of 5 F-5's anyway? It's his last night with the company, he may as well make himself look like God himself and no sell everything.

If Goldberg really is the "professional" that he believes is this "job", then to him it would look better going out as planned. Then again, I don't think we are going to see many finishers. It think 4 at most. 2 - Jackhammers 1 - F-5 1 - Stone Cold Stunner Oh come on, you know it'll happen.
haVoc 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2004 You notice up until about a month ago there was nothing but good stories on Brock Lesnar? Brock is handling his push well. Brock is becoming a lockerroom leader. Brock shot down the idea of going over Rey in his home town. Brock refused to take the win and wanted to put Angle over. Brock pushed for Benoit, Eddie, etc. THEN, it's reported Brock doesn't like the internet due to his storylines being leaked.... Now, Brock is a mother fucker with a huge ego that no one likes. And, yes, Brock owning a plane is awesome.. Very Flair!

Being a good little boy leaves the door open to a possible return (long- or short-term). Being the only promotion in America that could pay him what he's "worth", I would think he'd be smart enough not to shut that door.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted February 24, 2004 Interestingly enough, Lesnar has been very frustrated with his travel schedule and went as far as to buy a $400,000 plane. WWE is picking up his travel expenses and the salary for his pilot. The new plane will actually save WWE some $50,000 to $75,000 per year. Lesnar was also a bit upset about having to lose the WWE Title to Eddie Guerrero before WrestleMania. Lesnar figured that had he been champion, his WMXX match with Goldberg would be positioned higher on the card and thus his payoff from the big gate would be bigger. Overall though, he was happy with how his match with Guerrero came off and is looking forward to his match with Goldberg. Neither of these are really big deals. The first SAVES THE COMPANY MONEY, the second doesn't matter because he still did the right thing anyway. He has the right to have his opinion, as long as he does the right thing. haVoc 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 "Who the f--- is he to buy a plane?" Brock Lesnar is getting massive heat backstage from other wrestlers regarding his recent purchase of a $400,000 plane to make his travel schedule easier and more convenient. Lesnar did get WWE management's approval on the plane, but many wrestlers are upset because Lesnar has "individualized" himself from the other talent. One wrestler asked "Who the f--- is he to buy a plane?" Another problem is that wrestlers are starting to question how Lesnar can afford a $400,000 plane. Due to poor house show gates, mid and under-card wrestlers have been getting low payoffs, which has people wondering how the guy headlining the shows (Lesnar) can make enough to buy a plane. Lesnar has always had a bad reputation backstage, mainly for getting an ego so fast at such a young age, but the plane situation has made things much worse. Despite the heat, Lesnar remains one of Vince McMahon's favorite wrestlers and has five years left on his WWE contract. Credit: PWTorch Newsletter/411 Jealous bastards. It was rumored Brock made over $900,000 last year alone and I love how Brock has always had a bad reputation even though all reports said he has improved a ton since then. Now all this again? Also, I would love to know who has actually gone up to Lesnar's face and gave him this so-called heat?

jester 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 If this story is true, the locker room seriously needs to be slapped around a bit. If Brock can afford it, who gives a shit if he spends his money on the world's largest collection of Beanie Babies? It's his money, his business.
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 Maybe he's actually pinching pennies now because of the plane purchase. Who the hell cares? I'm suprised more wrestlers didn't do this in the MNWars days when huge Turner contracts were the norm and everyone was making money (even if WCW wasn't)
haVoc 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 At least Brock bought his own plane. Triple H saves money by flying private with the McMahons a lot of times.
Highland 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 I agree. The lockerroom seriously needs to be bitch-slapped a few times Maybe he was saving his money. not partying all the time and was finally able to afford a plane? And there is nothing that says he will be flying to shows with it, for all we know it was bought for his own private use.

Highland 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 I stand corrected, thanks.. Still though, I don't think this should be a big deal. Is the wwe locker room a communust country where everyone "shares" everyone, or is it a feudal system where the nobility owns everything and the peasants are merely slaves? THAT'S JUST BARELY ENOUGH FOR THE STARPOWER OF BILLY GREYBEARD!!! ... And people think LESNAR is making too much money. I think Undertaker's downside is, what, a million? Fuck Goldberg gets that much and has enough left to buy his own plane ala Air Brock.
