Guest Italian Stallion Report post Posted February 25, 2004 Mind sharing your SAT score? I never took the test. I got one C in high school so I knew I was smart. The rest As and Bs.

Dr. Tom 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 I took it in 7th grade and got something like a 1050 on it. In 11th grade, I got a 1390. I never took the ACT.

Chuck Woolery 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 I got one C in high school so I knew I was smart. This has to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard... actually, I can top it. The current one ranking in our class (class of 2006) belongs to an autistic child who has an aide and takes all of the 'sped' classes, but as our school doesn't have leveling (and nobody has the heart to give him a B), he has a perfet GPA and none of us have that. Proof that grades in high school do not mean a damn thing.

Guest ToddRoyal Report post Posted February 25, 2004 1410, but I always do ridiculously well on standardized tests. My HS grades didn't reflect that score at all.
Guest EQ Report post Posted February 25, 2004 1300. I had very good grades in high school, too bad that didn't carry over into college
Nevermortal 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 1080 I sucked in High School....but college is awesome. I'm doing way better here then I ever did in any school beforehand.
Ced 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 I took it in my junior year of high school and scored a shade over 1300 if I remember correctly. I scored higher on the written than the math section, which surprised me at the time since I had always thought of myself as being much stronger in math. Then in my first year of college, I proceeded to bomb Advanced Calculus two semesters in a row.
Guest BDC Report post Posted February 25, 2004 1250 if I remember right. But then, standardized tests are only supposed to be predictors of how well you'll do freshmen year.
Sandman9000 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 1210, 610 Verbal, 600 Math, despite no knowledge of geometry whatsoever. I underachieve in high school, I underachieve in college. C'est la vie.
jimmy no nose 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 I got a 1340 and had a 2.8 GPA, my friend had a 4.3 and got a 1250.
DerangedHermit 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 I got a 1320, even though my GPA sucked (2.5-ish).
teke184 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 1220, IIRC. My HS GPA was a little over a 3 but I worked my ass off in college and finished up there with around a 3.6 and an Honors diploma as a result.
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 The first time that I took it was as a sophomore in high school, and since I thought it was just going to be a throw-away taking (and I'd retake it as a junior) me and a few friends snorted some mescaline before the test. Still, I got a 1310, and thus never took it again. Man, I miss high school.
sfaJack 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 1090. I should have scored better, but I already knew what college I wanted to go to and, because I was in the Top 10% of my class, my SAT score didn't matter in the least little way as to whether I would be accepted or not. Thus, I didn't give a shit and put forth what would have to be considered only "average" effort. My ACT score was 29, I believe. I wouldn't testify under oath that that is correct, though. CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 Never took it, being Canadian. Scored 2250 on the GRE, though (1480 combined on the math+verbal, 770 on the analytic).
Slayer 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 Never took it, being Canadian. Wait, you're Canadian?! I got around mid 1300's, and it was not an indicator of college performance because my total HS GPA was 3.6, but I did horridly my first year of college because I was lazy and lacked discipline, which is what happens when you're suddenly away from home, but still lacking financial/other responsibilities... I'm better now
C Dubya 04 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 I got somewhere in the 1300's, but I took it before they pussied it down for you youngsters (they made the scoring easier in 95 or 96).
Guest EQ Report post Posted February 25, 2004 I think my problem was that high school was so easy that I never really had to put any effort into it. Once I hit college, I had those bad habits that I never shook
Dr. Tom 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 I got somewhere in the 1300's, but I took it before they pussied it down for you youngsters (they made the scoring easier in 95 or 96). Heh. Yeah, I took it (In HS at least) back in 1991, long before the era of using calculators and having essay questions. It strikes me as a lot easier now. I wonder, though... with all the talk that standardized tests are unfair to minorities, has the test become easier just on those PC grounds?

Damaramu 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 I never took the SAT. I however took the ACT and got like a 26.(34 on the english portion) I had a 3.8-4.0(it went back and forth frequently) GPA in High School and was ranked like 75 out of 600 students. I got into college on my ACT and grades so I didn't have to take the SAT. Funny thing is I was accepted to Oklahoma State and Texas before I was accepted to OU. Guest The Satanic Angel Report post Posted February 25, 2004 Got 1050 without studying.. if I had any inclination to go to college (seriously) afterward, I may have studied. School bores me. I went on-again off-again to classes at the community college for three years and completed only one course. It was an elective.
Ace309 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 1350, mainly because I didn't prepare. I got a 171 on the LSAT, though, and scored in the 99th %tile boasting>.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 31 on the ACT to the shock of everyone in the school but me. I told them I COULD have better grades, I just didn't WANT to do it and hanging out across the street at Troy State was more fun with hotter women.
