Who do you think was the least deserving individual to ever be in a Wrestlemania Main event? I think the least deserving was probably King Kong Bundy at Wrestlemania 2. The guy is hardly a legend, was never any good in the ring, and was pretty much just there for Hulk Hogan to beat.

You do realize that Diesel NEVER main evented a Mania don't you.....so I picked other and my choice would easily be Lawrence Taylor.

Ack... I haven't seen that Wrestlemania, but I assumed the WWF Title match was the main event.

Oh my...

Allied Forces defeated Eli & Jacob Blu via pinfall

Razor Ramon beat Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett by DQ

Undertaker pinned King Kong Bundy

Bret Hart defeated Bob Backlund in an "I Quit" Match

Owen Hart & Yokozuna defeated the Smoking Gunns for the Tag Team Championship

World Wrestling Entertainment Champion Diesel defeated Shawn Michaels via pinfall

Lawrence Taylor defeated Bam Bam Bigelow via pinfall

Yeah... dammit. Well, I knew the LT/Bigelow match received a huge amount of hype, but I was under the impression that the Diesel/Michaels match was the main event because of...well.... tradition...

So I learn something new every day.

Sid. Both times he main evented there was a near ***** match in the midcard as the secondary main event.

So they techically should have had SID in the main event constantly.

I voted for Yokozuna because at the time it didn't make much sense. He'd only been there six months and hadn't shown he was anything more than a fat man who could sit down on you. Mr. T and LT would fall a close second and third. Mr. T's main event was at least given enough hype to make it seem meaningful, and LT's was always considered more of a special attraction than a legit main event, so it seemed less offensive on first run than Yokozuna's WrestleMania IX main event.

Interestingly enough, i actually came in here to start this very topic.

But wouldn't you look at it like it's worse? I would simply for the fact that the guy isn't a wrestler. Yokozuna, while not my favorite wrestler of all time was a damn good heel champion that was for the most part booked correctly.....

Psycho Sid was BAD! Why was he in two Main Events, yet Ric Flair has been in none? Come on!

Big Show. The guy did NOTHING to disserve to be in WM 2000 ME, and being pinned 4:00 into a 35:00-40:00 match shows it.

KKB was the biggest heel for WM 2 time other than Piper, who already did a ME with Hogan at the Wrestling Classic PPV, and then wasn't the time to put the same main event back to back. Plus Piper's refusal to job CLEAN.

but maybe he's refering to WMIX which he DIDN'T deserve to have that slot...

The other 7x outweigh it. Plus it wasn't really the main event. An unadvertised, no-bell sounding to start "match" was flakey.

Lawrence Taylor, with Mr. T in a close second.

Sid. He sucked, and had one of the WORST matches at a Wrestlemania with the Undertaker (and hearing Shawn on commentary was weird enough). Like Kahran said, there were two matches each time he main evented that were LEAGUES better than his.

LT deserved to be there for all the attention it got the WWF. Same with Mr.T.

And of course that means they get priority of all the guys that wrestle there on a REGULAR basis!!!!!!!!!!!!

The choices for Mania11 were either LT or Nash winning to close the show....personally, Id pick LT.

Having Hogan on the list is just dumb...like him or not, the guy made way more money for Vince than anyone else at that time

He's on the list because of a deep smark hatred towards him and because he was main eventing Wrestlemania long after he shouldn't have.

Like I said before, Hogan made the list because I know a lot of people here hate him.

And yes, that Wrestlemania IX moment played a part in my decision as well.

Sarge...even as a lil mark, that match was about the least interesting on the card to me.

Even the Santana/Mountie 1:00 marathon or Demolition/2 Japanese Guys that had easy names to pronounce but WWF still fucked up?

How HARD is it to say Kitao?! I swear, during some of the shows leading up, they kept jumping from Ki-TAY-o to Ki-TA-o. They never even bothered with 1st names.

Easily LT.

Also, Yokozuna shouldn't be on that list, and neither should Hogan, Warrior, or Sgt. Slaughter.

Well, people voted for them, so I wasn't a total fool for including them.

You could definitely see it as worse in that aspect, but LT-Bigelow was the main event of WrestleMania XI like Angle-Lesnar was the main event of WrestleMania XIX. Technically true, but I remember more hype (at least on WWF TV, although mainstream media focused on LT) about Shawn-Diesel than LT-Bigelow, much like Hogan-Vince got more hype than Angle-Lesnar.

HHH in 2002 was a biggie. (But not the worst.) There was NO way to justify that.

Actually, there was see he was both fucking the bosses daughter, and getting the mandatory "return from injury as a babyface" push, that wouldn't have failed so bad had they actually made him get his ass kicked by Y2J and actually looked like you know a face who had to go against the "dominant" champion
