DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2004 The Hall of Fame Ceremony is expected to be released as a stand alone DVD. They expect some editing will be done, as the ceremony was salted to be 2 hours but went around 5. Due to the sucess of the Ric Flair DVD, WWE is now planning a Four Horsemen DVD as well. Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2004 I'd be interested in getting both of those DVDs. Yay for WWE's good DVDs these days.
Guest ToddRoyal Report post Posted March 19, 2004 If WWE includes matches and old clips as extras on the Hall of Fame DVD, I'm there. And the Horsemen DVD speaks for itself.
Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted March 19, 2004 Wasn't the Hall of Fame ceremony supposed to be an extra on the WrestleMania XX DVD? The Horsemen DVD should be pretty cool. I'll definitely pick it up.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2004 So what will be on the 4Horsemen dvd? Will it include some Midnight Express and Rock & Roll Express matches? Will they show footage of Roma, McMichaels, Sid or forget about it?
Papacita 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2004 If they do a Horsemen disc, I hope they cover the Pillman/Benoit version of the Horsemen from 95/96. That version of the group doesn't get enough love.
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2004 Before they release the Horsemen DVD, I wish the writing staff would go back and, you know, watch the old footage. Steal some of those ideas for new angles. For example, the way that Luger left the Horsemen (by not giving JJ the win in the Bunkhouse Stampede) would gain major face heat in today's wrestling scene. Some of those old angles would play out so well today.
Tony149 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2004 The Horsemen DVD has to be the one where War Games makes its first appearance. They should also throw in the Flair/Windham vs. Midnight Express Clash IV match.

DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2004 Wasn't the Hall of Fame ceremony supposed to be an extra on the WrestleMania XX DVD? The Horsemen DVD should be pretty cool. I'll definitely pick it up. Yes, in much the same way "The Final Nitro" was an extra on the Flair and MNW DVDs... a segment about it, not the whole thing (that's my interpretation of it, anyway... I don't think a 5 hour event is going to be a DVD extra on something that's already 5 hours).
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2004 And here is the answer to the above... "The WWE Hall of Fame Induction was one of the biggest events during WrestleMania weekend as the largest class, ever, was entered into the Hall of Fame, and the first ever celebrity inductee was honored – Pete Rose. Confidential was at the Induction Ceremony and has all of the exciting, emotional and sometimes comical moments of this event."

King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2004 Four Horsemen DVD? That is god-damn ownage. As long as they include all the eras of the Horsemen, it should be awesome. Hell, we may even get a Benoit/Malenko tag match or two on here. Flair/Anderson's PPV match would be nice too for historic reasons.

Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted March 20, 2004 I'd also love a Best of Test DVD. Could you imagine the sales? "Best of Test" kinda sounds like something out of Dr. Seuss. "Test the Pest is not the best. Nor does he get any rest. Test the Pest washes his chest with Zest. And he brushes with Crest, I do not jest. Test the Pest went to the West to buy a nice vest, but he stepped on a bird's nest."

Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted March 20, 2004 Were you around in the days of Coliseum Video?... Even now, WWE are having a hard enough time advertising their latest DVDs. Un-related, if everyone's getting a DVD, then they should wait until it's needed - take Brock Lesnar, for instance. 'Here Comes The Pain' wasn't bad, but they should've waited longer. And majority of the Coliseum Video releases were Pay-Per-Views anyway. "Best of Test" kinda sounds kinda like something out of Dr. Seuss. "Test the pest is not the best. Nor does he get any rest.
