Question: Am I the only one who found Elizabeth Berkley's character completely annoying?

Edit: I've been watching the show every day for 4 weeks, and can't even remember the name. Jessie? (tsk tsk tsk, stupid me)

And I thought I was the only one who liked Dead Man On Campus.

Hell's no.

Oh, and speaking of things we have in common, dude, Drive just got a new, easier to find DVD release. You can get it on BestBuy.com for like $14.99. I'm gonna snag it next paycheck I think.

I saw Mario Lopez on the "Golden Gloves" boxing tournament on NBC last Sunday. He was a correspondent and interviewed the winners.

On the subject of the teen shows, I found out some cool info. While reading up on series' that are set to debut in the summer/fall, I read up on one called "Weekends". The summary said it was about two Gen-Xers who are dealing with their first kid, and it stars Eddie Kaye Thomas (Finch from American Pie movies) as the husband and Caitlin Mowry (Dawn from City Guys) as his wife. Pretty odd, as she had basically fallen off the face of the earth (I believe she finished school at UCLA) until recently.

On the subject of Eddie Kaye Thomas...

The WB should've never cancelled "Off-Centre."

Bastards.

True story.

Why you're surprised that a WB show gets cancelled is beyond me...

This is something that I noticed this past week. Did you notice that in the last year the show had quite a bit of recap shows. First, they had one at the start of the show where they were talking about their summer working at the beach and in the ep Kelly and Jessie weren't in it but, they called Zack on the phone. Then there was that time caupsle ep with the class of 2003 and finally they have the Valentine Day ep. That's quite abit of recap shows for a show in it's last season.

Again, when I met Dennis Haskins, he said some eps were made as "padding" because at the time, you needed 100 eps or so in order to get into syndication. That's most likely the reason for the recaps.

I kinda figured it was because this was when Kelly and Jessica were trying to get off the show and didn't feel like working so they did the recap were they wouldn't have to do much or something to that effect.

Off Centre was really hit or miss. I thought it was funny most of the time, but it got horrid ratings if I remember.

WB cancelled it, then brought it back because fans wanted it. But then the ratings got worse.

Wait, you guys love Drive too?!

So do I. Drive is such an awesome movie. One of my favorite HBO Friday Night Movies, next to A Beter Way To Die. :P

Landry and Lopez Uncouple

by Sarah Hall

May 13, 2004, 9:50 PM PT

Ali Landry's marriage to Mario Lopez went stale faster than an open bag of Doritos.

The blink-and-you-missed-it union between the C-list couple is apparently over after Landry learned that Lopez was cheating on her, according to reports in both People and Us Weekly magazines.

a d v e r t i s e m e n t

The corn chips promoter is reportedly seeking to have her marriage to the Saved by the Bell star annulled, after walking down the aisle just over two weeks ago at a resort outside of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

The ill-fated pair began dating six years ago, after they met at the 1998 Miss USA pageant, which Landry provided TV commentary for and Lopez emceed.

Landry's friends reportedly warned her repeatedly about her beau's roving eye, but they could not dissuade her from going through with the wedding.

"She didn't want to believe it," a close pal tells Us Weekly, "but she was given really strong evidence this time. She is devastated."

Lopez allegedly went so far as to cheat on his bride-to-be at his bachelor party in Acapulco.

"She's still processing what has happened, but she has her friends and family around her," the pal says. "She's strong. She'll get through this."

The duo's nuptials were filmed for a segment on the Oprah Winfrey Show, but the doomed ceremony won't be airing any time soon--Landry reportedly asked the talk-show diva to axe the spot.

Wow, Mario's got that much of an ego that he had to cheat on Ali Landry? What an ass.

Oh, and gotta agree with the non-SBTB comment about Drive and the final fight scene. One of my favorite martial arts fight scenes.

Yeah, she's got a nice one. Oh, and Mario's an idiot. That'll probably rate a blurb in The Sports Guy's column and/or a "What the heck were they thinking?" question on Page 2...

hey I thought off-centre was great!!! I'll never forget watching the november 4 , 2001 ep. This just so happened to be the night the d-backs beat my yanks (I am on the west coast so the game ended about 8:30ish.) It lifted me up when I was very down. Gave me something to laugh at for 30 mins.

anyways my fav character on that was chau (sp) I loved when he burnt the bedroom up and fixed it with posters and he wrote chau rules on the wall.

ok, I still have been watching sbtb reruns on tbs. I really wish they would start showinng new class reruns and ones of california dreams, and usa high. all fun shows.

I saw Mr Belding (ok mr hastings) in vegas back in 01. the epsn zone at ny,ny hotel was having its grand opening vip party so I hung out by the inside entrance and watched stars come out. One of them was dennis. I totally marked out. luckily i had my camcorder with me and got a shot of him waving to us. wish I woulda talked to him. some kid followed him and got his autograph. i shoulda stole it from him lol

so whats the verdict on the dvds of sbtb? worth a buy?

This isn't a question, but it's still SBTB related and I didn't want to start a new thread.

TV Shows on DVD has reported that The College Years will be released on DVD in August. The 3-disc set will carry a MSRP of $34.99, but you should be able to get it for less when it's released.
