He needs the 'Narcissist Girls', ala WMIX, with their mirrors and pyro etc. *That* would be awesome.

Seconded. Now THAT was a WM moment.

It looks like both Mark Jindrak and Lance Cade have bright futures ahead of them - they're both impressing of late.

I think you got what I meant. Seriously though, if they want Jindrak to get seriously over as someone who is hot, having Stacy and Dawn Marie, two very hot ladies hang around him would certainly help.

For a second, I really did forget which show Stacy was on, because she hasn't appeared on-screen since WrestleMania (I think).

I know everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but how is that a WM moment? When I think of WM moments, I think of things like Hogan slamming Andre at WM III, Savage and Liz reuniting at WM VII, or Bret's title win and celebration at WM X. Luger posing with mirrors and a bunch of women doesn't come anywhere near that list. Actually, now that I think about it, nothing from WM IX qualifies as a "WM Moment" for me.

Thanks for proving my point. ;) Reason for my previous statement.

but how is that a WM moment?

To answer your question, it was shown during the intro to The WM Recalls the WWE had been broadcasting so I went with their choice. :P

Stacy was in the Battle Royale.

If Jindrak keeps this up, continues going strong, I'd love to see him up there.

"Hey Steve, I'm on the phone."

Very impressive.

Ah, but WHO was he on the phone to?

It could be the KEY to his big push.

Impressing whom? The same people contained in "A lot think so"?

-iB- has been taking his Scott Keith pills so he could make up fake news just to get attention...and gain 250 lbs.

Fake what news?

No, WWE officials have been pretty pleased with Cade's House Show work of late.

And, looking to get flamed, this Mark Jindrak is a real bluechipper.

And WWE officials say people who come in that are talented wrestlers need to start from the start again.

Does it really matter if Jindrak's talented or not? I mean, he's a HOSS dammit!

No, they haven't. They're both pretending to be young rookies when it's obvious by now that they're not going to evolve into anything remotely interesting. And let's not forget that the WWE people who think Cade is working good house shows will be the people who think Paul London needs to learn how to work WWE-style. And are responsible for the "use" of Ultimo Dragon.

You could add Cade and Jindrak together and you'd still have a wrestler with less ability and charisma than Kanyon, and less charisma and less of a "look" than Sean O'Haire (and he at least would have similar ability). I'd have cut both Cade and Kindrak before letting either Kanyon or SOH go.

You've got me there.

I am just interested in seeing what'll happen - WWE officials do fuck up a lot, but they're right occasionally. If they see talent, it'd have to be, right?

Right?

Right?

You mean the same recognition of talent that brought us Nathan Jones?

Er, no. I think I'll stick to choosing who I like and think is good based on my own judgement, rather than thsoe of the WWE.

That's a pretty quick turnaround on contradicting yourself, -iB-.

Jindrak is no Lesnar, but he is no longer as sickeningly dull and boring as he was when he was paired up with that black hole of charisma Cade. He's got Long as a mouthpiece, a tried-and-true gimmick and good athletecism, so he's got a better shot at making something of himself than many. Haven't had much of a chance to gauge his singles ringwork yet so we'll have to wait and see on that one.

Posted

Absolutely not... there's no "next Lesnar".

Batista has the charisma and look to be it, but is way subpar as far as ringwork goes (although it seems he's gotten slightly better which is pretty difficult not to do when you're teaming with Ric Flair and wrestling Michaels and Benoit as much as he does).

If any hoss from OVW is going to pan out, it's Matt Morgan if he can improve his ringwork. He's got the mic skills and he's a lot better in the ring than Batista is, anyway.

From what I've seen and heard, Cade was actually the more charismatic of the duo. Not that that says much...

Jindrak sucks, any way you look at it. People here slam Orton and Cena, but at least they both have a personality to go along with their bland OVW moves. Jindrak can't claim the same. Hell people here were ecstatic when SOH got the axe, and he was better than Jindrak in every way. Trust me- I'm one of the 3 people on Earth who watched WCW in the last few months, and I saw both of them in action.

Fun fact- Jindrak was actually released from WCW a few months BEFORE Vince bought them out, and then he re-surfaced with them during the Invasion angle as if he never left. And I'm sure we can thank a certain BBQ fetish having talent scout for that. So technically he's not really a WCW creation, so that might not save us from a long and boring Jindrak push.

Umm... No. Unless he was released in March (the month WWE bought the company), there's no way that's true. Jindrak worked one of the very last Thunders if I remember correctly, and that was at the end of February.

I looked it up. Mark Jindrak lost to SOH on the February 14th edition of Thunder in 2001. :)

You're right, I should have said a few weeks before the buyout, not months.

But... same general idea. The point is that even WCW just about gave up on him, and the ax was on its way down already when Vince took over and JR stepped in.
