What is the next big stable?

Recommended Posts

Guest gearhead

With the seemingly looming breakup of evolution since Trips is leaving and flair will hopefully be retiring soon strictly a hope I haven't heard that he would. I was wondering who will be in the next big stable. Yea who will be all the members a name is optional if you can't think of one. Because ever since the monday night wars the WWE has had at least 1 big stable. You can make it from either smackdown or raw. Ok my guess is that it will be a face stable consisting of Eddy Guerruro John Cena Rey Mysterio and Billy Kidman or Paul London. I belive that this stable would no doubt be one of the more exciting in the wrestling styles. So that is my thoughts what are yours.

Benoit executing the sharp-shooter on HBK and arguing with Edge last Monday seems a bit heelish to me........Can you say out-of-nowhere heel turn and a new heel stable with Ric Flair and co ?

Face stables haven't worked since the glory days of DX. The stable mentality is geared more towards heels (strength in numbers, etc.). I have to see the previously mentioned Heyman led stable sounds like a damn good possibility. I also think that a new Evolution of Orton leading Batista, Maven and a heel turned Shane Helms (ditching the Hurricane gimmick) could work.

I'd take out Maven and put in someone like Rob Conway.

If the WWE signed Konnan and/or Juvi and placed them on Smackdown then they could recreate the Filthy Animals. I know Konnan's not the greatest wrestler in the world, but it just wouldn't be the Filthy Animals without him. It would give Rey and Kidman something to do, causing mischief. Rey and Konnan or Rey and Kidman or any combo of Rey, Eddie, Kidman, Juvi and Konnan would be another tag team for the dying tag team scene. If something caused them to break up (let's say between Rey and Eddie) then you got some pretty good matches between the two of them ocassionally bringing in Kidman, Juvi and/or Konnan to be the feud enhancer with a tag match. Depends on who turns and leaves the group. WWE could make them heels unless they had an established heel stable already.

For a heel stable, they could give JBL some people to make him the modern Million Dollar Man. Or give Paul Heyman the Dudleys and some other guys who aren't doing much on Smackdown. Stick the Bashams in it if they feel like it. They could probably do the enforcer role pretty good. Or you could put some heels under Teddy Long's care. Some stable battles would probably do some good for Smackdown, because at this point not much can hurt Smackdown. Except giving JBL the title. That would kill Smackdown. They just need to keep throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks.

I'd like to see the face cruiserwights officially come togther as the new Filthy ANimals or something, as it seems tyhere was an alliance among Rey, Kidman, Ultimo, and Funaki. Sub London for Ultimo, and there ya go. Chavo can get his group together and IT'S WAR!

Darn, I got beat to it!

I say get a bunch of people not doing or who just plain suck a thing and have Theodore Long manage them. heres what I think:

Mark Jindrack: Well hes already there despite our hate from him they could make him contend for the U.S. title.

Paul London: Not cause he sucks, because he has nothing else to do, you could have him go for the Crusierweight title.

The Bashams: Anyone should agree that Theodore Long would be a much better manager then Linda Miles. Maybe that would be enough to push them towards the Tag Titles.

Orlando Jordan: Hes not doing anything, and there always a member of the group who never does anything and is just there for no reason. Orlando Jordan has prefected just being around for no reason. Hed be perfect for this job!

Big Show: Well every group needs a main eventer. Big Show is always struggling to find something to do.

All this and Theodore Long could debut his new catch phrase: "You cant go wrong with the Long." Hell I know I would want to buy that T-Shirt!

The Playa's Club!

On RAW, a stable that includes Christian, Tyson Tomko, Trish Stratus, Randy Orton, and a repackaged Rob Conway would rule.

It's funny cause it's true. Most of his angles/feuds are built around the fact that he is there.

The inclusion of The Bashams and Jindrak kill any chance this stable has of getting over. Seriously, can you get more vanilla?

Maybe so, but its my belief that Theodore Long could get anyone over, this is the ultimate test.

You mean like he got over Mack & Henry?

I couldn't imagine SmackDown being any worse than it is now...until someone brought up Jindrak contending for the U.S Title, and The Bashams getting another run with the Tag Belts...

I do like the idea of Big Show in a stable though. Maybe have Heyman manage one with Show, The DUDz and Booker...guys who were traded from Raw. Long could manage talented "Angry Minority Teams" like Yang & Sakoda and the F.B.I. Maybe they can have a Battle Royal where the winner gets Teddy Long as a manager and Shannon Moore somehow wins, much to Long's chagrin...then Long unwillingly leads him to the cruiserweight Title. There are so many possibilities for Teddy as a manager on SmackDown, it's just a shame JINDRAK is the best they can come up.

Can you say Russo? That would make no sense at all. It's just a swerve for a sake of a swerve. Benoit's doing fine, he's found his niche.

I'd like a Paul Heyman stable with Dudleys, someone like Paul London (IE a underutilised/underappricated cruiser) and maybe RVD. And then, to build a new main event heel, have the faction kick RVD out for being too popular and have (insert wrestler here) be the leader of the faction.

I think he got Henry somewhat over.

He definitely did. Remember when Mark Henry beat the shit out of HBK, or when he mentioned his stank to Trish?

Unfortunally I dont think I shall ever forget Mark Henery mentioning his stank.

I think that a heel RVD should become the leader if WWE decides to have Heyman form a new stable.
