Fro Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 I thought this was going to be about Nova/Idol getting called up, which I would have been all for. Magnus and Snuka? Eh, I don't know about that. Haven't seen any OVW stuff past April yet, so I haven't been able to see them trying this out. I'm also all for Alexis coming up to the main roster. Just watched OVW TV from last night, and no Magnus/Snuka Arab gimmick. Magnus has a good bit of charisma and can talk, but is only decent in the ring and needs some more OVW time. The funny thing is OVW had two really good tag matches this week that were better than any of the work any of the WWE regular tag teams have done in the last few weeks on free TV... and Nova didn't even wrestle in the Jersey Shore Crew's match (Idol/Danny Inferno did and were a lot better than I remembered them being). Alexis Laree is great and it's a joke that she hasn't been called up yet.

So Just plain eye candy. So lets say then that Alexis does win in this wonderfully worthless rigged crap. Are they not wanting her to wrestling. At least not at the beginning? Since Alexis is actually a capable wrestler, they could just pull a 'Eugene' with her. She comes in, acts like a simplistic Diva, then begins to show her true skill, beating the shit out of the lower end ones like Stacy and Nidia.

I mean, if his uncle's kid is being turned into an arab when he's obviously Samoan (and The Rock probably takes pride in his heritage), you'd think the Rock would nix this. At least for Jimmy. Weee, rambling is fun.

Snuka Jr. already has a ready-made gimmick in just being Superfly's son. hell, a fued with Randy Orton would be a no-brainer.

It's not as blatantly ignorant as making them straightforward Jihadists, but there's still the subtext there. It's like the ONLY way to approach a "muslim heel" gimmick with some intellectual depth.

Seriously though, why is it that you thought they would do ANYTHING right with her? They have horribly booked the women's division since it started and there is NOTHING of value there except for fucking T&A reasons......otherwise they are worthless.........so basically they are worthless.......or something.
