Credit: PWTorch A broken hand and lower back pain? That is not a good sign for the Women's Champion. I wonder what will happen to the title belt now. Does she remain champion or vacate?

They could do some kind of screwjob angle for Vengence where she wins with no effort, and SummerSlam will not really need a women's title defense. But if it's going to be much longer, yeah, she should vacate it.

Isn't it weird that out of Tomko, Christian and Trish, the guy that is sort of known for botching moves and being green is the only one not injured? What's up with the broken hand injury anyways? First Edge, then Shelton, then Trish. Here's to hoping that the title goes vacant so the division doesn't wither away in the next two monthes.

They report someone like Val Venis has "heat" in the lockeroom, but don't report why. The writing team has big plans for "so & so," but don't give any details. It's because they either make a good portion of this stuff up, or they get their info from jobbers who don't even know half the facts they think they do.

Guest DeathBecomesYou Posted July 4, 2004 Report Posted July 4, 2004 If it's only a month or two that she'll be injured for, then they might as well leave the title on her, come up with some creative reasons for her to weasel out of her title defenses and when she does have a match, make it a short, weapon and run in filled encounter which would hopefully divert attention from her weaknesses and all shall be fine. However, I would mark out huge if Trish has a title defense against Molly on Monday where Molly goes all Malenko on her and basically rips Trish's hand off en route to winning the title .
