My nominees:

Robert De Niro

Al Pacino

No, if you look at the first post it says actors/actresses.

But for some reason people find it difficult to judge the merits of a female performance and thus do not rate them as being amongst the greatest of all time. Aside from me, two other people nominated women. I will be shocked if any woman, bar maybe Meryl Streep, make it past the second round.

Just a question: were we supposed to nominate our top 10 regardless of what others before us said, or simply add 10 names that hadn't been nominated yet? Because if it's the first option then I am going to edit my choices. My 10 nominations weren't my overall top 10 by any means.

That's all you really need. Sean Connery should win, hands down.

No one's cooler than John Wayne. Hell with versatility, the man has an on-screen persona that can't truly be duplicated.

I think you should do a seperate tournament for actresses. It will probably go better.

If you want all overall favorites to gauge seedings, here would be mine

Paul Newman

John Wayne

Cary Grant

Humphrey Bogart

James Garner

Katherine Hepburn

Jack Nicholson

Audrey Hepburn

Boris Karloff

Orson Welles

Huh, who to pick who to pick:

Paul Newman

John Wayne

Cary Grant

Humphrey Bogart

James Garner

Harrison Ford

Jack Nicholson

Audrey Hepburn

Denzel Washington

Tom Hanks

DeNiro and Pacino would be on this list, but Pacino has become his Scent of a Woman character which is getting annoying and DeNiro just doesn't seem to read the scripts he is agreeing too. And Connery can never be forgiven for some of his last few movies.
