Obviously, "OMG KWEE WEE" didn't contribute directly to WCW's demise, but there's a bunch of little things they did, or opportunities they missed, that explains why Vince McMahon is in charge of it all today. 1. Letting the inmates run the asylum. 2. Not capitalizing on La Parka's overwhelming popularity. 3. The fingerpoke of doom. 4. "That 70's Guy" Mike Awesome 5. The match should have been the blowoff to the NWO angle and established Sting as WCW's top star. Instead, Hogan basically got a clean pin over Sting. Pointless cruiser matches, when the winner wouldn't advance up the card (eg Lizmark vs Super Calo) 53. Jobbers on Thunder- did anyone really care about Mike Enos vs Jerry Flynn? 54. algrim 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 1) Having Juvi and Rey lose their masks, therefore killing their mystique. Juvi got along fine with the Juvi juice gimmick, IMO. Rey looked stupid as a mini Konnan. 2) Not using Bret properly . We can't emphasize this one enough. From the start, he should have joined Luger Sting in opposing the NWO, not flat out joining it. 3) Periodic World title changes. This devalued the belt. 4) Giiving Hogan creative control of his character. 5) Making Flair look like a comedy act. 6) Not pushing Sting. 7) Wasting thte talent of the Radicals by putting them in meaningless feuds. 8) Not giving Jericho his due. 9) Three words: Dungeon of Doom .
