Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2004 Estranged 10 Far and away my pick for the best thing GnR's ever done. And the only thing worse than "My World," period, on earth, including genocide, is "Oh My God." At least the former is, what, 80 seconds long? Pixies time: River Euphraties: 9 Good score. The version on Complete B-Sides is a 10.
1234-5678 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2004 Hey "Oh My God" has damn good lyrics. If it would've had a video ala "You Could Be Mine", I think it could've been a hit.
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 Well, yeah. No reason for "Oh My God" to have the Terminator in it, though. It's awesome when he's in the crowd at the concert. Cheese-ball.
1234-5678 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 Could've still had Arnold though, since it was on the "End Of Days" soundtrack. Look for the live version of "Oh My God" from Rio, makes you see the song from a whole different perspective.

Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted July 29, 2004 Why did you give Revolution Number 9 a 7, Inc? Isn't it just Yoko saying "Numbah 9" a bunch of times?
Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 I'd say the speaking of "number 9" lasts less than a minute over the track's nine minute running time, nor is it even unaccompanied. On second thought, however, my rating was based more how well it works within the context of the album; on its own, the rating would be lower. Ah well. Kinetic 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 I have a hard time comprehending how, as far as McCartney songs from the White Album are concerned, you can rate "Honey Pie" over "Rocky Raccoon." "Honey Pie" is probably the shittiest thing Paul McCartney wrote with the Beatles.
