I have a hard time comprehending how, as far as McCartney songs from the White Album are concerned, you can rate "Honey Pie" over "Rocky Raccoon."  "Honey Pie" is probably the shittiest thing Paul McCartney wrote with the Beatles.

No way, dude. "Rocky Racoon" is total ass. Lame Bob Dylan-wannabe, made worse by McCartney's attempt to emulate his vocal style.

 

Furthermore, goodhelmet once called "Good Night" the "worst Beatles song ever" or some such nonsense. That's absurd, but then I can't stand Sgt. Peppper's, so we all have our moments.

The Gilded Palace of Sin is the definitive country rock album. Anything from the alt country genre nowadays is influenced by this one. Exile of main Street - yep, Keith Richards said without Parsons and the Burrito Bros. his landmark album wouldn't have been the same.

It's a great song and it contains what is probably the best hook Dylan ever wrote, but for some reason it never really 'clicked' for me. I can't really explain it.

 

Also, Idiot Wind is the best Dylan Song ever. No question.

I'm never sure if I like that the Blonde on Blonde remaster is split into the two discs. I always just listen to the first, because it's pretty much perfect.

 

"Idiot Wind" is superb but I'll go with Spiny and take "I Want You" and possibly even "Stuck Inside of Mobile..." over it as personal favorites.
