Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 At one point, the Chicago Bulls had Brad Miller, Trenton Hassel and Ron Artest. Pg- Kirk Hinrich SG- Trenton Hassel SF- Ron Artest PF- Eddy Curry C- Brad Miller. They coulda had that line up. Oh they could've. But at least we've got Tyson Chandler! RIGHT?!
Fökai Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 Hassell was and still is a very good roleplayer ...let's not go far beyond that fact. The Bulls really didn't miss out much with him. I would've loved to keep Artest and Miller, but they turned into future cap room (->Rose -> JYD and Davis), which will benefit the team next year. Braves: Odalis Perez, Ryan Klesko, Jermaine Dye, Kevin Millwood and Bret Boone, coupled with the losses over the last two seasons.

I had thought about it, but the amazing thing is there are precious few players we've ditched and regretted. Maybe Paul Byrd or Carlos Silva.

Guest Staravenger Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 Hey Bauer, no love for Tino Martinez? He was a very good player with the Yankees and I'd rank him higher than Nick Johnson.
Guest GreatOne Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 David Ortiz. David Ortiz. David Ortiz. David Ortiz. David Ortiz. David Ortiz. I'll second that. 'Hey we'll have Edgar around forever so we'll trade this guy David whatshisname!!!!' Actually the M's do I believe have a few that I wouldn't mind having back: CF-Scott Podsednik SS/3B-Carlos Guillen, David Bell (save the prospects rush) DH/1B-Ortiz (I'd say Olerud but it wasn't happenin' this year) C-Jason Varitek (I could care less about Lowe) Pitchers-Brian Fuentes, Denny Stark, and maybe Brett Tomko It's official: Trading for Jeff Cirillo and Ben Davis (thanks Lou and Pat) was the Paul Revere to the 2002-current doldrums.................... Seahawks I'll go with Kevin Mawae.

Its worth noting that none of the guys they traded away for Cirillo and Davis have really amounted to much. David Bell for Dei Relaford however is quite questionable.

Bruiser Chong Posted August 22, 2004 Report Posted August 22, 2004 Red Sox Nomar Clemens Vaughn Uh, you mean Mo Vaughn? You mean Mo Vaughn, the same guy who fell down a flight of dugout stairs never to quite be the same again? You mean Mo Vaughn, the guy who hasn't played in a couple of seasons despite still being paid? Yeah, I'm sure the Sox miss him a whole lot.
Guest Staravenger Posted August 22, 2004 Report Posted August 22, 2004 I always forget Randy Johnson started with the Expos, and I have his Topps rookie card too, tsk tsk tsk. Agreed on Mo Vaughn sucking wet ass for the last 6 or 7 years.
