Are we talking about Libby as the lawyer in Michael II? Because that woman was such a rancid bitch, for Michael to forget about her would be a travesty. Ana-L (as I've abbreviated her) needs to get some of that sweet Southern Comfort to calm her down.

I knew that the payoff would be too soon, but I was hoping that Hurley would blow the pantry and then blow a hole into the shitty hatch wall, connecting the tail and the front end.

As for the sound thing going in and out of flashbacks, it was noticeably missing in this episode as well, especially when they got all cool with the flashbacks and went back and forth quickly to make sure we got the point of what Hurley was trying to say about change not being good.

So, 23 survived the crash from Tail Team, and didn't 42 make it from Front Team? Not sure how many there are currently after Ethan, Arnst, and assorted minor character deaths.

Possibly another few small groups roaming the island? Maybe one matched up with each of the 6 stations on the island (if all six of the stations mentioned in the orientation film are on the island)? Would kind of be unbelieveable that none of the groups would've met up unless the island is a LOT bigger than indicated.

Edit: Finished it. I liked it. Couldn't believe DJ freakin' Qualls makes a guest spot. And yes, I too want to punch Ana-Lucia right in her ovary.

Interesting thing involving Dharma/the guy in the video/Locke.

At the end of the orientation film, the guy said Namaste, a Buddhist greeting (the divine in me recognizes the divine in you, roughly), which is what made me think of this.

In Buddhist (and Daoist) Chinese folklore, there are eight deities, collectively called the Eight Immortals. They were human, but gained immortality through belief/faith. They represent eight different conditions of life: youth, old age, poverty, wealth, the populace, nobility, the masculine, and the feminine.

Seemed interesting in that faith is a big thing with Locke, and would be with "Team Locke" if it ever actually came to be.

Youth: Walt

Old Age: Locke

Poverty: Kate (?)

Wealth: Hurley

the Populace: Charlie

Nobility: Sayid (?)

The Masculine: Sawyer

The Feminine: Claire

Also: Dharma = "the way to higher truths" Beings that live in harmony with Dharma proceed quicker towards moksha, nirvana or personal liberation (from the island?). The need to take pretty much all of the Dharma (the corporation) thing on faith has already been established.

Sorry if any of this has been brought up before, if it was I totally missed it.

23 is probably their original number. Judging by how uncomfortable it was during the conversation about it, how few were in their hatch and the preview for next week, making it seem as if they were already familiar with the Others, a number of them are probably gone already. Either due to the 'disease' already striking, the Others picking them off, or gone metaphorically, such as some of them already splitting off from the group into another faction.

Ethan wasn't on the plane, or at least not under Ethan Rom. It'd be nice if we could get some clarification as to which group he officially belonged to. He kidnapped Claire, but as we found out, the Others (who Ethan is presumed to belong to) were after Walt all along, unless it was as a distraction from their real goal. If he was part of the other survivors, then if Ethan went after Claire and knew there were front half survivors, then surely the rest of them would have known as well, unless he had split off on his own at that point. Desmond seemed surprised when he learned there were others, and if Ethan was with him, then Desmond would likely have already known. And we're led to believe that Danielle has been completely on her own.

Anyway, there were 48 originally. It's now down to 42.

Here we're already at 42, but then Aaron is born, bringing the number up to 43. And then...

I don't remember, did they kill Ethan last season, or is there a chance of seeing him this year? Because I thought I saw the dude who plays him on a commercial for some CBS show, so if that's him I'm going to go out on a limb and assume no more Ethan.

Yeah, they killed him. But if you watch the episode where Hurley and Charlie are burying him, you can clearly see his chest moving up and down like he's breathing. It might not mean anything, though.

I'm not sure about this. The actress who plays Libby is Cynthia Watros from Titus and The Drew Carey Show. I could have sworn that Michael's ex-wife's lawyer was Jeanetta Arnette, the principle's assitant from Head of the Class.

Shit, man. There was nothing to get all misty-eyed over at the end but it didn't matter. The montage by the fire, Bernard with tears in his eyes......fuck. That was great.

So Libby meets Michael. Same Libby who defended Walts's mom during the custody trial? Maybe.

Hurley's boss at the Chicken Place also being Locke's boss at the box company? Fucking A.

I'll need to keep telling myself that Jin survives next week or I might not make it.

I got choked up. It was a damn happy ending, with everyone eating and laughing. And Rose saving for Bernard an Apollo candy bar. Faith's being rewarded.

Next week's preview has me jacked to see THE OTHERS~! And what happened to the tail survivors that all died? I counted 6 still alive.

Ethan's dead.

The tail survivors and the raft survivors are supposed to reunite around episode 8.

How about Jin burying the bottle and keeping hope alive?

How about Locke and his brand new (to him) big ass fucking gun?

Hadnt we assumed Jack and Kate were a couple? Why the demurity on Kate's part?

And Now Hugo gets what he wanted from the island, he gets his windfall, and shares it, and is loved. Perfect.

Actually, I kind of see her being more into Sawyer. At least, that's the impression that I got from the latter half of Season 1.

Kate in the shower was the greatest scene on LOST ever.

My only dissapointment was I thought we were going to find out more about Hurley being in the Insane Asylum on this episode, but oh well.

Thanks, figured it was around 42 now. And I know Ethan was never on the plane I just mentioned him because of the guy he killed (the one Sawyer misidentified).

Sorry if this has been posted..

Josh Holloway and his wife reportedly were robbed at gunpoint in their home. There was no indication that the robber recognized the 36-year-old actor, who plays hunky con man Sawyer on the ABC castaway drama "Lost," television station KHON reported.

The robber rousted the couple from bed early Wednesday, took cash and credit cards and drove off in Holloway's Mercedes-Benz, which was found abandoned a short time later, the station said.

Honolulu police would not release any information on the robbery.

Holloway's agent did not immediately return a call to her Los Angeles office.

Get the bamboo and call Naveen Andrews.

They need to tease Jack and Kate hooking up but never have anything physical happen. Then, when the raft crew gets back they need to have Kate lay eyes on Sawyer and book it down the beach and just run into his arms for the lovin'.

Do you think that inputting the numbers every 108 minutes has something do with maybe venting gas or pressure from a reactor?

Ties in with Sayid's "Chernobyl" comment... Sort of...

I was thinking that part of the message in the word jumble on that Mr. Cluck's site said: SHIP IN THE OCEAN. I couldn't figure the first part out, but if this is the last part, they didn't jumble the letters much at all.
