Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Well, again with the Nile. I don't listen to any death metal, but I try to be open minded. Should I go see them when they come here on December 12th? I hang around with indie kids, I'll have to go alone... Depends. If you like shows that get unnecessarily violent, then yeah. They're about as brutal death as brutal death can be, though, so interpret that as you see fit. Â Ten Years After-"One of these days"
Edwin MacPhisto Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Jay-Z, "Change Clothes." Didn't like it at all the first few times I heard it, but it's really growing on me. It's still not as good as the other Neptunes track on here, "Allure," but it's got a lot of charm.

Guest JebusNassedar Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 Today is the Day "The Descent" Â Gotta love genre bending metal. The band intrigues me greatly, due to the rapid tempo shifts. It's seemless, and well done. So I'm going to look more into them before deciding. Â Also, I downloaded Unas Slayer of the Gods, and one of my friends was over. The intro made him jump, but upon getting an actual chance to listen to all of it, it's simply epic. Going from smooth acoustic opening to windowshaking (thank you, subwoofer) blasting of metallic goodness? Yes, I do think we have a winner for my next album choice. Now all Tower has to do is have the CD. here's to hoping.
