Hunter's Torn Quad Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Part way through the Rey/RVD v DUD's match at JD, the sound guy plays RVD's music, thus giving away the finish.
DerangedHermit Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Scott Hall and Kevin Nash taunting the crowd and swatting away garbage at BatB '96 while Hulk Hogan is going on.
Guest JohnnySwift Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 You know how Austin Powers did that waist-high 'I'll take the stairs/elevator/canoe' bit? Hulk Hogan as a face, I THINK WCW pre-nWo days, gives an interview to Mean Gene, flexes with his arms in front of him, pumps his wrists like he's revving a motorcycle (leading me to believe this was a Road Wild?) and slides perfectly smoothly off screen, backwards. Mean Gene looks at him leave for a beat or two, then 'Well there you have it folks' completely unperturbed. Hogan used to do that in the WWF ALL the time. When I first started watching wrestling I didn't think he could walk off from an interview normally. He did the same thing at Summerslam 90 talking about a water ski, and I think at Rumble 90 as well.
alfdogg Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 We should have made a separate quote thread just for Hogan.
Guest Phenom Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 We should have made a separate quote thread just for Hogan. Because he's hung and he's bung so much.
alfdogg Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 1991 Royal Rumble  Ted DiBiase is berating Virgil, and as both are just standing there, gets hits in the back with a full drink cup.  Butch makes his entrance and marches two full circles around the ring before finally getting chopped by Valentine.
AnonymousBroccoli Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 Someone mentioned New Jack on the last page, so I'll say: Hulk Hands. I wish I had a picture of that.
Special K Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 I gotta say, Tokyo Magnum's entrance is one of the funniest and most awesome things I've ever seen.
MillenniumMan831 Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 Butch makes his entrance and marches two full circles around the ring before finally getting chopped by Valentine. Yeah, I actually found that to be funnier than Luke's in and out and wackin to the back sequence later on. Butch's march just seemed like something he did on the spur of the moment. Â Plus, in RR91, Roma and Valentine work over Bret Hart in the corner. Then, they turn on each other. Bret, starting to come to, sees Roma/Valentine slugging it out and just shrugs them off and takes a break much to the amusement of the front row.
alfdogg Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 At the '97 Rumble, Austin eliminates Roberts as Bulldog is making his entrance. As Bulldog is running to the ring, the camera catches a shot of the ring just long enough to see Austin throw the snake out right on top of Jake's head.
JHawk Posted November 1, 2004 Report Posted November 1, 2004 It's hard to see on tape, but at Survivor Series 89 the 4x4s are doing this routine of exchanging the 2x4s by tossing them to each other, and while they've got a wide shot you see Ron Garvin drop one before picking it up as if nothing happened.
King Cucaracha Posted November 1, 2004 Report Posted November 1, 2004 November To Remember '98, Tanaka/Balls vs. The Dudleys. Crooked ref Jeff Jones runs in and does his whole 'oh, I've pulled my shoulder' act when counting a Tanaka pin. Tanaka starts yelling at Jones, who responds by yelling 'What the fuck are you saying!?!' before eventually pulling out a Japanese phrase book to Tanaka's bemusement. Â Cheap laugh, I know.
JST Posted November 1, 2004 Report Posted November 1, 2004 A routine I've done that's garnered a few laughs: Â Heel wrestler complains about a nearfall, and I insist it was only two. And so, I proceed to re-enact the entire pinfall by myself, playing all the roles. Â Oh and once there was thumbtacks in the ring. So I counted with my foot.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted November 1, 2004 Report Posted November 1, 2004 At the '97 Rumble, and Phineus Godwin throwing some of the worst punches in the history of wrestling at Crush, I think. They missed by a mile, and it was painfully obvious.
Just call me Dan Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 I'll try this one one more time and see if I'm not the only one who saw this. Â Around the time BBB was arriving in WCW to take out goldberg, he gets told off or kicked out of the building or something. I believe he is in the parking lot, and all the sudden he lets out a grunt because he's pissed about not being able to go in. the camera pans to the left to see Scott Hall point laugh and do a weak crotch chop RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM before proceeding to get thrown into a coke machine and have his ass kicked. Â What the hell he was doing there, I'll never know. Classic.
pgi86 Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 Right now, these moments come to my mind as being hilarious :  1.Big Show and Val Venis are taking a pee in the loo.Val looks at Show and says "And they call you the Big Show?"  2.Val Venis at Summerslam 98 "I came,I saw ....and then I came again"  3.Interviewer: " Rock,How do you feel about all the internims in the white house?" .. The Rock : "Well,as long as all the the internims beneath the Rock know their damn role and they don`t do anything orally bad...excuse me morally bad..The Rock has no problem with them."  4.Steiner does a superman jump at Bad Blood  5.One of Naturals hits the camera while climbing the six-sided cage on TNA  6.Kurt spits milk in a girl`s face
hbkhhhmark4life Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 I would say when Kane Fell Twice at Summer Slam 2003 against RVD and When Jericho fell twice against Rhyno at Summer Slam 2001, great stuff, a must watch if you have a tape of it at your disposal, i know i do!!!
hbkhhhmark4life Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 Hogan being dragged by Undertaker on the back of Taker's bike on Raw b4 Judgment Day 2002, very funny stuff!!!
Boner Kawanger Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 I'll try this one one more time and see if I'm not the only one who saw this. Around the time BBB was arriving in WCW to take out goldberg, he gets told off or kicked out of the building or something. What the hell he was doing there, I'll never know. Classic. Hall was supposed to have a match against Bam Bam at Starrcade that year, but it never happened because it was WCW.
Slickster Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 Armageddon 2000: Taker throws Angle face-first into the side of the cell. Then, Taker sets up to punch Kurt and as he does the Double Feature of the cage shot comes on screen. What makes this funny is that the 'whip' sound effect used for the Double Feature comes on JUST as Taker connects with Angle's head. My friend and I still laugh at Taker's infamous Whip Punch. Â Souled Out 1998: Hall is wrestling Larry Z (whom he just slammed) but is distracted by Dusty Rhodes on the apron. Zbysko gets up and almosts jumps Hall, but thinks better of it and PLAYS POSSUM, awkwardly falling back into position like he broke his hip or something.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 Ernest Miller's entrance at the Royal Rumble. That one made me laugh out loud.
alfdogg Posted November 13, 2004 Report Posted November 13, 2004 At Good Friends, Better Enemies, Nash threw his vest out of the ring and it landed right on Vince McMahon, who was doing commentary. Â At a later IYH (I want to say International Incident, but I'm not positive), the camera was on Vince, JR & King during a lull, and a kid reached over and put a Burger King crown on Lawler's head.
Art Sandusky Posted November 13, 2004 Report Posted November 13, 2004 Any time Crash Holly went to pin someone. He just spreads his arms and flops on the person.
MillenniumMan831 Posted November 13, 2004 Report Posted November 13, 2004 Vince and JR were welcoming everyone to Survivor Series 1996 (may have been the Free for All though). This was during JR's first bitter ol man phase. Vince quips something about JR making sure his ego is kept in check which prompts JR to say something to effect of, "Oh you're one to talk about egos!" Â Then Vince turns to the camera w/ a classic, "AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!"

King Cucaracha Posted November 13, 2004 Report Posted November 13, 2004 Any time Crash Holly went to pin someone. He just spreads his arms and flops on the person. Indeed. Â Add in Crash's entrance in the 2000 Rumble. The 'pose and rub chin' became legendary amongst me and my friends for months afterwards.

JoeDirt Posted November 13, 2004 Report Posted November 13, 2004 Double C and Matt Sydal locking up while on Chris Candido and CM Punk's shoulders, respectively, and doing an Irish whip sequence while on a guy's shoulders.
