Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted September 24, 2004 So of all the manliest men that have ever been on the TV/Movie screen who is the manliest man of them all? Please include only fictional charactors. For me, I gotta say it's Captain Kirk from Star Trek, The Original Series. 2nd is Batman from the 1960s TV show 3rd would be Lord Steven Regal if we are allowed to count wrestlers but I think I want this topic to stick to just fictional charactors. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted September 24, 2004 Who is the guy Anya mentioned? I believe it's some fruitcake from "Buffy" and if it's the guy I'm figuring it is, then I hope it was said in jest.
Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2004 Who is the guy Anya mentioned? From Angel, of course. Prissy Brit turned shotgun-toting badass. I'd actually have to agree with her on that.

If you've never seen him outside Buffy then you won't understand.

starvenger 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2004 For me, I gotta say it's Captain Kirk from Star Trek, The Original Series. Ben Sisko owns Kirk and everyone needs to recognize. Although to be fair, he didn't reach the upper echelon of badassness until he shaved his head. And if your TV name is Wesley you're probably a wuss, or an annoying little fuck. Other manly men: - Jack Bauer - Tommy Oliver - Wong Fei Hong (real person, played by about 1000 different people in movies) - Steve McNair... what do mean he's real? Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2004 What was the name of Ving Rhames' character in pulp fiction? Marsellus Wallace I would say getting punked in the ass threw his manliness out the window... I gotta go with Indiana Jones, even over the obvious answer James Bond...guy gets tons of pussy, has college chicks wanting his cock, always saves the day, he's the luckiest character in hollywood history and most importantly...he NEVER loses his hat! now if THAT ain't manly I don't know what is... However, he took his nickname from the dog. And there's the issue of his underage "friend", Short Round. If Jabba the Hutt had actually been the fat Irishman, then he'd have been a real manly man. Crimelord, got his own palace, chicks in bikinis chained to him, and disposed of when he gets bored. Too bad he was a big slug... And speaking of Star Wars, after (re)watching Ep IV on DVD, I'm once again reminded of what a whiny bitch Luke was...
Australian Pride 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2004 And speaking of Star Wars, after (re)watching Ep IV on DVD, I'm once again reminded of what a whiny bitch Luke was... What's his classic whiny line? Something like 'but i wanted to go and pick up power converters at somewhere or other' And after watching Die Hard last night i have to throw John McClaine into the hat for manliest man.
