What songs would make great entrance themes?

Recommended Posts

I'll just type up my e-fed characters' themes.

NAME - CURRENT THEME - PAST THEMES

Corey Lazarus - Slayer's "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" - Amen's "Coma America," Shadows Fall's "The First Noble Truth," Stuck Mojo's "Not Promised Tomorrow '97," Marky Mark's "Don't Sleep"

Cliff Young - Black Label Society's "We Live No More" - Megadeth's "Symphony of Destruction," Iron Maiden's "The Wicker Man," Danzig's "Five Finger Crawl," Black Label Society's "Demise of Sanity"

Jesse White - Toxic Narcotic's "People Suck" - Guano Apes' "Open Your Eyes," Stuck Mojo's "Rising"

Andrew Crow - White Zombie's "I, Zombie" - Theatre of Tragedy's "Machine," Misfits' "Descending Angel"

Team Frontline (tag team of Cliff/Jesse) - Iron Maiden's "The Wicker Man" - Fear Factory's "New Breed," Pro-Pain's "Make War Not Love," Shadows Fall's "Stepping Outside The Circle"

TV-MA (tag team of Laz/various partners) - Rage Against The Machine's "No Shelter" - Fu Manchu's "Squash That Fly"

I think all of these make great themes, and I don't think most of them have even been used by actual wrestlers.

The one’s I’ve used:

T-Bone: At The Drive In “Mannequin Republic”, Fu Manchu “Squash That Fly”, P.O.D. “Boom”,. Transplants “California Babylon”, The Mars Volta “Take The Veil Cerpin Taxt”, Agents of Oblivion “Anthem (for this Haunted City(I know, I know.)), Primus “To Defy The Laws of Tradition”, Primus “The Last Superpower AKA Rapscallion”, The Mars Volta “A Plague Upon Your Hissing”

NeWave (Tag Team): Rage Against The Machine “Bulls on Parade”

Todd Larson: Quarashi “Mr. Jinx”, Rollins Band “Your Number Is One”, The Hives “Hate to Say I Told You So”, Faith No More “Epic”

The Solution: Nixon Now “The Solution”, Sepultura “Attitude”, Soulfly “Bleed”, Rollins Band “Your Number is One”, Sparta “Red Alibi”, Probot W/ Max Calavera “Red War”

Jamie Incisors: Audioslave “Cochise”, E-Town Concrete “Mandibles”, Hot Hot Heat “Bandages”

Jebus Nassedar: Tom Waits “Everything Goes To Hell”

Powersurge: Foo Fighters “All My Life”, Rollins Band “Civilized”, Molotov “Gimmie The Power”, Presidents of the United States of America “Tiny Explosions”

Rubin Demota: The Constantines “Nighttime/Anytime”

(probably forgetting others.)

As far as good ones I haven’t seen used, The Huves “Diabolic Scheme” would be perfect for a cowardly heel, and conversely, Frank Zappa’s “Apostrophe” is great for an “OMFGOLDSKOOL” character. “Cisqo” from Thee Michelle Gun Elephant is great for a surfer type character. And Sunna’s “Power Struggle” is just a generally awesome song, so it’d make a good theme.

"I am God" by Broken Hope. I found it to be a good theme song for me back in the day.

As for Slayer I'd go South of Heaven, Bloodline, and obviously, Here Comes The Pain (which sorta does give off the vibe that it was written for Goldberg he got the infinitely inferior Crush Em instead)

Metallica: For Whom The Bell Tolls and Orion (perfect theme for Orton--or esp. HHH since it sorta has that metal '2001' thing to it.

I'd go 2112 (Rush) for a Max Moon-type character, or that could be Hurricane's new gimmick.

Vince and HHH could choose between Tyrant by Priest and Orgasmatron by Motorhead. Hell if they weren't stuck in the 'Bygarnit, he's black so he'll have a rap theme', 'Overnight Sensation' would be Shelton Benjamin's (hey at least they didn't stick him with P Diddy). JYD and Iceman King Parsons both at one point used Another One Bites The Dust by the decidedly non-African-American Queen.

I think "Elevation" by U2 could be used to great effect by a Paul London type or Kevin Randleman if he wnats to wrestle just so he could have an excuse to do those freakish jumps he does to his music

Van Halen: Panama (Could've worked for Jericho's 1998-99 WCW run)

Motley Crue: Looks that Kill (For someone like Stacy Kiebler)

Alice in Chains: Rain When I Die (Not bad for Raven)

Ministry: New World Order (This would have been badass for the 1996 Hall/Nash/Hogan version of the nWo)

Jane's Addiction: The Mountain Song (I don't really know whom this would fit, but it's a dandy nonetheless)

Metallica: Ride the Lightning (I could see Rhyno coming out to this)

Ozzy Osbourne: I Don't Know (The entire WWE Creative Team)

I'm tapped.
