Guest TheLastBoyscout Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 In my experience... 1. Platoon 2. The Last Temptation of Christ 3. It's A Wonderful Life
Guest T®ITEC Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 I never saw Titanic, but I'm still claiming that I hate it.
Nighthawk Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 It's a very small percentage of people who haven't seen Titanic or It's A Wonderful Life.
Alro Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 I never saw Titanic, but I'm still claiming that I hate it. I'll second that. Add almost every Julia Roberts movie ever, too.
Bruiser Chong Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 There are a fair share of people who automatically write off movies that are: 1) In black & white 2) In another language and require English subtitles 3) Silent films
Guest Staravenger Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 Fahrenheit 911 is up on my list, and pretty much every horror movie from the 80's sucks to some people who've never seen them.
Nighthawk Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 There are a fair share of people who automatically write off movies that are: 1) In black & white 2) In another language and require English subtitles 3) Silent films That's a fair judgement for them to make. If those things make them dislike a movie, I'd think they'd be able to accurately tell whether they will like one based on such. Also, silent movies are generally black and white also, plus you have to read them. What an unpleasant experience for such an individual.
Ravenbomb Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 Titanic and Gigli come straight to mind. those two and Waterworld
Guest TheLastBoyscout Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 I hate people who dismiss IAWL for being "too happy". It's the darkest commercial film of Capra's career.

The Mandarin Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 I kept razzing on Gigli with friends all of last summer, so of course when it finally came out on DVD, of course I saw it. Worst movie ever. It even tops this AWFUL Meat Loaf stalker movie I saw once. I can't believe it graced my Playstation 2. So I reserve the right to call it a steaming pile of shit.
Ed Wood Caulfield Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 I take it you've never seen the show Mystery Science Theater 3000 huh?
The Mandarin Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 I take it you've never seen the show Mystery Science Theater 3000 huh? Nope, but I bet dollars to donuts I'd have a new pick for "worst movie ever" if I saw Manos and the Hands of Fate.
NYU Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 As soon as I saw this title, "Fahrenheit 9/11" came to mind.
dpac Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 I know alot of people who refuse to watch LotR movies. "I am not into that wizard and dragon stuff", is a common line. I guess I was the same way before I saw Felloship.
Guest 11and0baby Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 Gigli is crap bar the 10 or so minutes with Al Pacino and the lil bit of Christopher Walken we see. And how do people not like Platoon without seeing it? Cause its a War Movie??
