Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 14, 2004 Why won't they put this stuff on the dvd releases as well? Not everyone has broadband connection.
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2004 Anyone else think it's weird they put Skipper vs. Sanders on here?
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 14, 2004 I believe it is, they are going for a October theme obviously...why not Goldberg/Page from 98 Havoc? I guess they felt they needed a cruiserweight option.
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2004 I believe it is, they are going for a October theme obviously...why not Goldberg/Page from 98 Havoc? I guess they felt they needed a cruiserweight option. Then why not Eddy vs. Rey from Havoc 1997???

deancoles 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2004 Rick Martel was the other guy. They should have included their match on Raw the following week. Edit: Beaten to it

I guess they felt they needed a cruiserweight option. Why put cruiserweight matches in when it is a RAW PPV, they feature no cruiserweights
The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2004 and that was the match that lead to the Ladder Match, right? The whole "two belts" thing? ...back when the IC Title had real meaning...

I guess they felt they needed a cruiserweight option. Then why not Eddy vs. Rey from Havoc 1997??? because they have used it about since obtaining the rights to the footage(it's on eddy's and Rey's dvd and was shown on From the Vault segment on Confidential)...Diversity never hurts. UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2004 Was totally expecting them offer Hell in a Cell 1 and Eddie/Rey HH 97 at "must see exclusives!"
Guest Evolution Report post Posted October 15, 2004 Skipper/Sanders...obscure, but I'm a Sanders mark. I don't know if my connection could handle it, though, but if I knew it could, I'd consider buying it if only to see Above Average. I gotta agree that Goldberg/DDP being omitted sucks, though. I don't think Vince/Steph was necessary.
Guest Lawlerm Report post Posted October 15, 2004 The really should start putting some old school stuff like this on the DVD releases. Surely they can't be selling many copies of Judgement Day 2004 etc. but if they threw an old WCW match or two on them it would persuade a lot of folk to get it. But then they'd have to admit WCW was actually quite good... Ah well...
Enigma 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2004 They should start putting all the extras they put with the webcast on the DVD release of the PPV.

BHK 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2004 Was totally expecting them offer Hell in a Cell 1 and Eddie/Rey HH 97 at "must see exclusives!" Eddie/Rey was offered as a webcast extra for No Mercy. Personally, I can't wait for the Survivor Series extras. Hart/Austin SS96
Masked Man of Mystery 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2004 I think its an insult to call Elix Skipper the best cruiserweight in WCW. He's probably pretty darn good(haven't seen much of him myself) but that division was loaded at one point.
natey2k4 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2004 they said Skipper was the best at that time.. WCW didnt really have too much then, and even the ones that were better.. "the best" probably was stated cuz he was champion...?

Or that Triple-H held down another wrestler?
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 16, 2004 it was historic in their mind because it unified two titles... And then it was un-unified.
