For some reason I'm compelled to go to the Strange Days Festival tour when it stops by at the nearby summer shed, here's the list of bands playing

The Doors of the 21st Century

Steppenwolf

The Yardbirds

Vanilla Fudge

Pat Travers

I really can't explain why I want to see a bunch of 60s bands with a lot of the original members missing. And why the hell is Steppenwolf playing after the Yardbirds?

I don't feel like going to Mudvayne tonight. I'd rather stay home and sleep.

And Zug Izland is playing tonight too. I'd rather go see them.

Is there really any original goth music on the same level as the Birthday Party? Someone please recommend something. I like Bauhaus quite a bit, but a lot of the time I listen to them and it just makes me want to listen to the Birthday Party. And I hear Killing Joke is good, but aside from that... someone, help.

I could name some, but they're well known enough that I'm sure you're familiar with them and just don't consider them in the same category. Christian Death maybe... nah, they're not that good.

I love Killing Joke, but it's a bit of an aquired taste. Some find them boring after a while. What's THIS For...? is probably the most accomplished early album, but get the first s/t as well. If you like heavy stuff, get the recent s/t. Dave Grohl stills kicks ass when you put a drumkit in front of him.

Good Lord!

Justin Hawkins from The Darkness has covered "This Town Ain't Big Enough for the Both of Us" by Sparks.

I am not looking forward to hearing this.

This probably won't please PLAGIARISM!

EDIT: This is awful, really awful. You should not fuck with Sparks.

Sigh, I know. I haven't heard it yet. The thing that annoys me most is that everyone will think I have a Justin Hawkins ringtone now.

I may have to punch the first fucker who believes it be a Justin Hawkins' original.

Oh God. This gets worse every time I think about it. Truth be told, I quite liked the 'Street Spirit' cover, wish he'd just stuck with that. Franz Ferdinand were gonna do an album of Sparks covers as well, it's as if they're all out to get me specifically.

I can't be the only person who prefers Game over 50 Cent.

No your not.

I can't stand 50 cent and most of the G-Unit.

I've got Super Furry Animals' Guerilla playing right now on Inc's recomendation and I am loving the shit out of it. It's so good it must be karma for him liking the Sneetches so much.
