The Czech Republic Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 MC Spike-E - Real name Sam Foulkes - Chosen because he has spikey hair. MC Reepa - Real name Stuart Baker - Chosen because he liked the sound of it. MC Strider - Real name Mustafa Omer - Chosen because he is a fast runner. MC Krazy - Real name Lee Bailey - Chosen because he has mad moments. MC Freek - Real name Oliver Georgiou - Chosen because his favourite pirate station is Freek FM. MC Melo-D - Real name Chris McKeckney - Chosen because he liked the sound of it. MC Kenzie - Real name James McKenzie - Chosen by splitting his surname. MC Plat'num - Real name Marcel Sommerville - Chosen because he liked it (originally was Rocky-B because he liked rocky movies). MC Flava - Real name James Murray - Chosen because he likes different flavours of music. DJ Tommy-B - Real name Tom Beasley - Chosen by using his name. This can't lead to anything good.
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 I have no idea what this is, but it truly bothers and disturbs me on several levels. MC Freek is officially my favorite. Namely because I read his name explanation wrong and thought it listed his favorite pirate.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Blazin Squad suck. Why are you talking about them?
Murmuring Beast Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 They are a very bad (and English) boy band. English and bad - they don't have much going for them.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Worked out fine for me.
DCMaximo Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Blazing Squad are my favourite crap British boyband for several reasons. First is the fact their first single was a really crap cover of "Crossroads" by Bone Thugs And Harmony. Second is the fact that I signed my housemate up for the Blazin' Squad mailing list, which sent him constant e-mails which used a laughable variety of "urban" language and thirdly is the fact that they try to give off a tough, cutting-edge street look, but then release incredibly soppy singles that even Boyz II Men wouldn't touch. Utterly hilarious.
The Czech Republic Posted December 4, 2004 Author Report Posted December 4, 2004 MC Krazy - Real name Lee Bailey - Chosen because he has mad moments. This is my favorite.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 I prefer this one. DJ Tommy-B - Real name Tom Beasley - Chosen by using his name
razazteca Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 Should'nt they be wearing football jerseys or something?
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 MC Kenzie - Real name James McKenzie - Chosen by splitting his surname That's the best one.
The Czech Republic Posted December 4, 2004 Author Report Posted December 4, 2004 I think I remember welshjerichomark saying she was a Blazin' Squad fan.
Slayer Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 The black guy has "token" written all over him
Black Lushus Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 MC Kenzie - Real name James McKenzie - Chosen by splitting his surname That's the best one. that is actually quite clever... anyway, this shit can't be good...so are they rap or what? I'd lump them in with Crazytown, Kottonmouth Kings and ICP in levels of suckiness, I'm sure...
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 I've heard countless songs they've done, and I can't remember what any of them sound like. Ironically, after saying DJ Tommy-B was my "favourite", I've found out he's coming to do a public appearance at my local shopping centre. YAY!
justsoyouknow Posted December 5, 2004 Report Posted December 5, 2004 One of these things is not like the others...
Guest INXS Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 Da Squad are for the 8-13 year old girl market, and yeah they are pretty silly. Some of their songs have been not too bad though, in a throw away pop kind of way.
welshjerichomark Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 You boys are so slow, i was pimping these lot like two years ago. Get with the programme yo. They are actually quite cool, in a so bad they're good kind of way. Ive seen them <<live>> twice. But GLC are the ones to watch right now.
welshjerichomark Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 Oh and a lot of their lyrics make no sense. kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 You boys are so slow, i was pimping these lot like two years ago. That was before they all hit puberty. Now I guess they have street cred. And, like Slayer said, I would have loved to see the black kid wear a shirt with a "T" on it...
mister foozel Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 MAN. these guys are, like, SOOOOOO BADASS
TheFranchise Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 MAN. these guys are, like, SOOOOOO BADASS
The Czech Republic Posted December 11, 2004 Author Report Posted December 11, 2004 Get with the programme yo. That is so cool.
mister foozel Posted December 12, 2004 Report Posted December 12, 2004 MAN. these guys are, like, SOOOOOO BADASS You took that the wrong way What are you? Straight or somethin'?
Guest DVD Spree Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Karl tells you everything you need to know: http://dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=6084 Man, I've never been so happy to have grown up and developed the ability not to buy pop music any more.
King Cucaracha Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Remember that thread in HD where 'Chav' was this year's buzz-word. Apparantly, these kids are chav. Sad thing is, there's so many punks who dress and act like them here in Britain, either intentionally or un-intentionally. Asking them for the time is apparantly reason enough to 'rip your fuckin' throat out, guv'. "Yeah, we all 'ang out togevver innit" Amen.
Guest DVD Spree Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Remember that thread in HD where 'Chav' was this year's buzz-word. Apparantly, these kids are chav. Reminds me of something really pithy on someone's FaceParty account: "Do chavs REALISE that they're chavs?"
