NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 I almost don't even want to watch the elimination chamber match now. Basically they ruined this match and once again made it all about the potential screwjob finish........ugh.

Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 1) HBK blades 2) HBK superkicks *at least* 2 people during the course of the match (1 heel [let's say Edge] and 1 face [accidentally, Benoit])
Twisted Intestine 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 I knew the spec ref would be HBK, or someone equally as unimpressive.. I was really holding on to my string of hope that it'd actually be someone suprising like... Steve Austin, though.
The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 He'll lose his smile and in a teary-eyed speech, relinquish his ref position. Then at the pay per view, four certified referees will compete in the Final Four elimination match to decide who gets the match. Charles Robinson will win. Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 My guess He'll do something to give HHH the title inadvertenly. He'll lose his smile and in a teary-eyed speech, relinquish his ref position. Then at the pay per view, four certified referees will compete in the Final Four elimination match to decide who gets the match. Charles Robinson will win. Or that will, or at least should happen
jester 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 Seriously. Isn't elimination chamber gimmicky enough without a special referee?
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted December 28, 2004 Has a ref ever bladed before? If not; Shawn can add that to his resume of showboating.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 HBK will get knocked into one of the elimation chambers, bleed, then nip up seconds later for a screwjob fast count.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 It is just that I find it highly ironic that HBK always seems to be involved in the "oops I accidently just caused Triple H to win the match.....AGAIN" storyline. It is just old. It is almost like they are secretly laughing at people who actually think Triple H might lose the title.
Secret Agent 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 Was I the only one hoping for someone better, like say Brock Lesnar? I knew it was going to be HBK, but I was praying that it wouldn't be.

Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 Has a ref ever bladed before? If not; Shawn can add that to his resume of showboating. If I do recall correctly, I remember HHH beat the fucking shit out of Hebner on SD one time and they had to gurney his ass out. I forgot the year though. Like everybody else has said, HBK being added to this match just killed any interest I had in this PPV's main event.

Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 Im not getting how everyone wouldn't have been happy about the choice bit... Sure HHH and Batistia and Edge even Randy Orton would have a problem, but Benoit or Jericho buried their hatchet with HBK months ago. not like its a current problem
Guest Tjhe CyNick Report post Posted December 28, 2004 Meh, I think its fair to say they all have issues with him. I agree with everyone that HBK is overkill in this match. Me thinks HHH is doing everything he can to make sure he's not headlining another PPV that does 170,00 buys. I think it'll still be a good match though, even with HBK. This just add some intrigue as to how HHH will win the match.

geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 HBK? I thought that was Michael Bolton dancing toward the ring at the end of raw. ---------------------HBK bald jokes never get old
Guest Fook_Theta Report post Posted December 28, 2004 We've seen in the past that the special guest ref doesn't have to screwball the last two guys. HBK will likely screw ball someone in the match, but end up with counting the almost regular three count for the last pinfall. It isn't necessary that something screwy happens. HBK as ref wasn't needed for this match at all though.
Styles 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 HBK accidently causes HHH to win the title, and then pleads on RAW that him and HHH have a 10 year grudge that to this day has not been settled and thus he must get a title shot and settle the score. HHH vs. HBK is signed for Royal Rumble in a "Melodramatic Mayhem" match (there must be at least 25 nearfalls or near submitions before a fal can be counted), and HBK will lose in a thrilling 55 minutes and lose 2.4 pints of blood. Randy Orton will win the Royal Rumble. The next night on RAW, a bandaged HBK explains to Orton that HHH and him have a 20 year grudge that to this day has not been settled and thus he must get the title shot at Wrestlemania, and thus it becomes a 3 way match which HHH wins after pinning HBK in a thrilling 1 hour and 25 minutes and HBK losing 3.6 pints of blood. HBK interrupts a scheduled "Divas Fashion Show" the next night on RAW, declares himself the winner and announces he must get the title shot at Backlash because he and HHH have a 35 year grudge that to this day has not been settled and thus he must get a title shot and settle the score. HBK vs. HHH is signed for Backlash in a "Grimace and Crawl Iron Man Match" in which the most falls in an hour wins, but will only count while grimacing and crawling to attain. After going through 5 tables, falling off 7 ladders, doing 6 kipups and losing nearly 5 pints of blood, the match is announced a draw, title goes back to the champion. HBK pleads to the ref about their centenial long grudge that must be settled and is granted "5 more minutes" which turns into another 2 hours and 20 minutes, and ends with HBK passing out from exaustion and dehydration before HHH can pin him after a pedigree. The feud will be announced over the next night, until Summerslam.

Ced 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 Shelton Benjamin beating HHH for his spot in the Elimination Chamber might have tempted me into getting the PPV, but alas, that was never meant to be. HBK as a special guest referee does absolutely nothing for me. And if there wasn't a 750 character limit, I'd probably have that passage from Slapnuts! in my signature right now. Its totally irrelivant having him in there.
Guest Catcher8C Report post Posted December 28, 2004 Michaels will turn heel and cost Batista the victory. HHH will win. At RR, Batista wins and HHH/HBK will face Benoit/Edge (parters who hate each other).... No Way Out would then have a stacked card (for today's WWE), Michaels/Batista, HHH/Jericho, Benoit/Edge, Orton/Flair maybe... Michaels will lose clean to Batista, snap, and quit RAW. 1 week later, he arrives on Smackdown to set up a fued with a newly turned Kurt Angle.
