Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 Bradshaw only married recently. Describe "recently." Like last week. Look down on the board here; there's a article about it.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 Bradshaw only married recently. Describe "recently." Yesterday. Is that recent enough ?
Dandy Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 Okay, I must have heard about his engagement a couple months back, and not his marriage. I remember the story about how he was very well-behaved on a road trip because he had his new woman travelling with him.
Dandy Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 Bradshaw only married recently. Describe "recently." Yesterday. Is that recent enough ? Eh, it'll have to do.
JoeDirt Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 Okay, judging from this post earlier: "As a subscriber to the torch I can tell you they did not report all of the facts on rajah. The story was from the raw brand." I would say we can rule out Big Show, Angle, and all the other Smackdown people. Since the guy went and complained to McMahon about Johnny Ace, I'd say it's probably somebody who's pretty high up with the company who would feel he could complain about something like that to Vince. I would wager it's not HHH.
Dandy Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 Not disputing Keller's Raw statement, but where were the two people who earlier said it was definitely Angle? Is this another thing entirely, or were your sources wrong?
Dandy Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 I edited Bradshaw out of the list of suspects on the previous page.
JoeDirt Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 Not disputing Keller's Raw statement, but where were the two people who earlier said it was definitely Angle? Is this another thing entirely, or were your sources wrong? That is a good question...we have conflicting info here.
Jingus Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 Here's a better question: Why do any of you care who it is? This is a private matter between private people. If I've ever seen a better example of "none of our business" I can't think of one.
Vyce Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 Because it's scandalous and people love scandal. And besides that, they're public figures, and thus to a large extent, they have no private life to speak of. Or at least they shouldn't.
Modern Man's Hustle Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 I could care less about who the people that pretend to fight each other fuck in their free time.
Jingus Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 Exactly. As long as it's not something involving 1.a hot Diva and 2.me, I couldn't give a shit less.
LessonInMachismo Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 I still think it's Big Show... But didn't Keller say it was RAW? That's what I thought, but everybody keeps talking about SD, as well.
Guest Trivia247 Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 if it was a Big Show then he is a Moron, his wife is Ultra hot
AndrewTS Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 If we are naming names... I am going with the Christy Hemme thought with the playboy shoots coming out not wanting the bad pub of having an affair with a married man. ... Wow, that's the most ridiculous thing I've heard on this board this week outside of an INXS post. How would it be bad publicity? They aren't going to want to have Christy Hemme; a girl who won the 250,000 search thing due to fans voting and recipiant of a Playboy shoot and is marketed as a fun bubbly girl to be revealed as a potential homewrecker. That's NEGATIVE publicity. They already get publicity for her being in the Magazine. Vince doesn't believe in negative publicity. I'm still waiting for an explanation for how it would hurt WWE, the sales of the magazine, or the "diva"'s marketability. It doesn't make a damn bit of difference in those aspects. If WWE is covering it up, it's only out of courtesy for a couple of their employees.

If I've ever seen a better example of "none of our business" I can't think of one. probably because they are desperate for something wrestling-related that's actually entertaining, being that the shows aren't. the part about not being able to leave his wife is actually kinda scary. I could see the company getting into a tiff about the affair under some circumstances... but trying to control the outcome of a marriage is just..... so weird. I bet its one of WWE's "unwritten rules" RULE #52145: You must always introduce yourself to everybody and shake Undertaker's hand RULE #52146: You must cede any marital decisions to WWE higher-ups RULE #52147: You cannot fly first-class, even with your own money!!!

It doesn't make a damn bit of difference in those aspects. If the wife in question doesn't know about the affair, and it does involve Christ Hemme and it gets made public because of the spread, then the wife could really do a number on WWE , by claiming they were promoting adultry, and were only interested in stopping the affair when they were scared it could give WWE bad publicity. Part of the appeal of these spreads is fantasizing about being with the women in question. If you know that the woman in question is getting fucked by a wrestler you see on TV every week, it kills the fantasy. Sure, most of the women in Playboy that get fantasized over are being fucked anyway, but most of them are not being fucked by people we see on TV every week.
Dandy Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 The reason I care about finding out who it involves is because I'm curious about the details of Johnny Ace's involvement/decision. He has the inclination to send the wrestler in question to the other brand if it doesn't stop, and is supposedly telling the wrestler that he will indeed stay with his current wife. My curiosity is piqued as to who he thinks he has this much control over, and how the fallout will impact Raw, Smackdown, and each show's storylines.
Jingus Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 RULE #52145: You must always introduce yourself to everybody and shake Undertaker's hand You're right about the other stuff you mentioned. But as far as shaking hands goes, that IS a big deal in the wrestling business. If you walk into a locker room with the Undertaker and you completely ignore him and act like he doesn't exist, then you are one dumb little powerplant jobber.

Would this being made public hurt the WWE whatsoever? People assume the WWE is sleazy anyway. -=Mike
Guest jumpingbombangel Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 My guess is it's Chris Jericho and Trish Stratus. THAT...WOULD...BE...AWSOME! Damn, no it wouldn't. Jericho is married with a *kid*. Plus, have you seen a picture of his wife? I don't think he'd run around on her. My money is on Dawn Marie and Charlie Haas (not married yet, but engaged). Holy crap, life DOES imitate art!
Vyce Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 Damn, no it wouldn't. Jericho is married with a *kid*. Plus, have you seen a picture of his wife? I don't think he'd run around on her. You know the old saying: for every hot chick, there's a guy who's tired of fucking her.
CanadianChick Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 I don't know, I couldn't really see Jericho being the guy. Granted I don't know him personally or anything, but it's not the vibe I get from him.
Styles Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 I don't know where that guy gets that Keller said it was a RAW band. I'm a Torch subscriber too, here's the exact quote: One of the reasons John Laurenaitis has heat is he insisted that a married wrestler end his relationship with a female worker in WWE. The relationship had become more than a "fling," but because the male wrestler is married, Laurenaitis apparently felt it was his place to step in. He threatened to move them to separate brands to keep them apart and said the wrestler wouldn't be allowed to leave his wife. This male wrestler complained to Vince McMahon about Laurenaitis overstepping his bounds and interfering in personal business which, to that point, hadn't shown signs of affecting their professional duties... So there you go, go back to speculating anyone...
MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 You can obviously rule out HHH because the person complained to Vince about it. Not that I think he could be that stupid.

There's hysteria to be had, here.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 If I was a top star, I wouldn't give a shit if some newbie shook my hand or not.

Either I misread it, or he changed what he wrote. I remember reading it and thinking that there were not too many divas to choose from on the raw brand, but I guess I just added raw in out of nowhere. My bad, sorry for the pages of rampant speculation gone potentially wrong.
Sass Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 I'd laugh if it really did turn out to be HHH. Ace, end game.
Jingus Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 I hope so. If HHH cheated on Steph and Vince found out, it just might save wrestling as we know it.
