alfdogg Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I was surprised Sid's ankle break didn't make it. -=Mike ...THAT looked brutal... Or the Benoit/Sabu incident.
LessonInMachismo Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 A friend sent me a video clip of Hunter Hearst Helmsley Pedigreeing a guy with pink tights that look like they used to belong to Jake Roberts, what with a white stripe circling one leg. The move was done more like a double-underhook piledriver. It can be found on Kazaa under "bloopers - wrestling - triple h's pedigree gone wrong." Does anyone know which show that was and who the jobber was?
Guest jm29195 Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 It was on a Raw in September 95 I think, was the jobber Joe Thurmann?
clean rob Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 It was on a Raw in September 95 I think, was the jobber Joe Thurmann? Joe Thurman is the guy who had his back broken by a Vader powerbomb in WCW, I'm sure.
Guest Pariah Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 The guy Triple H Pedigrees is called Marty Gardner, or at least that's the name he was using then. He was an OMEGA worker.
Mrnoitaull Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Some fat guy breaking his leg in ECW was better. It didn't look as sick but it was funnier because of the long set up where he was supposed to leap across the ring, and he went about 6 inches and broke his leg. I belive that was Visecera afterward, everyone in the back ran out to mislead the crowd as they wheeled off Mable.
Papacita Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Goldberg KO'ing himself had me in tears. What IYH was that Sid interview from? I wanna say "It's Time" but Dibiase's in the picture and I know he was gone by then.

Does anyone know which show that was and who the jobber was? Was it the Ask 411 article where they got questions about the "killer Pedigree"; i.e. someone inventing an urban legend that HHH killed a jobber with it? I've heard about this incident somewhere recently, which is why I ask.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 The guy in ECW breaking his leg in 1996: If it's the same incident mentioned in the ECW Hardcore History thread, it was an ECW trainee called Kareem. The Sid interview mistake: Was from one of the earlier IYH's. The HHH botched pedigree: As mentioned by Pariah, it was Marty Gardner, and no, he was not killed.
Dace59 Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 He wasn't even hurt that bad from what I remember hearing. There was stuff floating around about him apprently thinking it was gonna be a Double Underhook Suplex...but I have no idea how anyone has that info so I dunno how much I believe the story.

Given how he went up for the move, it does look like he was excepting to take a double-arm suplex, though why he would think that with Hunter going for his finisher I don't know.
Dace59 Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 Yeah, I can see the jump he takes and it makes me think why as well.
The Metal Maniac Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 I always thought the guy believed that HHH was gonna give him a Tiger Driver with the way he jumped.
