Shows you won't admit to your friends you like

Recommended Posts

The only thing I watch on tv regularly is syndicated Becker, because it's on the tv in the break room at lunch. Pretty amusing, actually. Totally predictable, but everyone acts like an asshole, so it's ok.

Fuck yeah. I love Becker, mostly because I can get into any sitcom that's entirely mean-spirited.

My television schedule is so mundane because of the number of movies I watch; Simpsons, occasional Malcolm, American-made Adult Swim, Arrested Development, Real Time, Daily Show, and South Park. If it goes beyond those, I'd be surprised.

I used to TiVo and watch Recess everyday for about six months straight. Such a great show, though people can't grasp the concept of the cartoon being made as much for kids as it is adults, so I gave up on telling people about it.

I'll admit to liking something if you ask me, but I won't volunteer it. In that vein, it's probably Power Rangers and Raw, although I've been watching less of that (Raw) anyways.

I pretty much figure everyone who likes "Full House" doesn't admit to it. Hell, I catch it when it comes every once in a while. :D

I don't watch it anymore, but that's only because I've seen every episode so many times it's not worth watching anymore. But I used to be a pretty big Full House fan. And I never hid it, it was always pretty open.

My girlfriend got me into Sex and the City and Project: Runway. Sometimes I stay up to watch Gargoyles on Toon Disney, and I want to buy the first season set.

Oh yeah, Recess! Recess was great. I still watch that occasionally if it's the middle of the day and I'm channel surfing.

Like others, I watch entirely too much Dawson's Creek. I think I've seen them all. Only recently have others found out about this guilty pleasure.

Other than that, I don't really hide much from my friends. I rarely bring up wrestling, but they all know already so if there's a commercial or whatever I'll hear about it.

My friend, there's nothing to be ashamed about, watching Gargoyles.

I watch Degrassi: TNG and I'm not ashamed to admit it...

Whenever I'm home for lunch or I have the day off I watch those TLC shows like Adoption Story, Baby Story, Dating Story, Wedding Story etc. with the wife...

Every once in awhile I get into a Lifetime flick with the wife as well...

Fucking lifetime movies. I always end up watching them because of some chick. I hate them though.

Strong Medicine on Lifetime

I watch all those Christmas specials on ABC Family. Including the bad ones like Frosty goes Surfing.

Degrassi: TNG

Gilmore Girls

I never used to admit in high school that I watched wrestling (once it stopped being cool), but I haven't hid it in college.

This thread is ironic, but for me it's As Told by Ginger.

No idea why, I just find it entertaining.

For me like Starvenger, it's probaly Power Rangers. Although, it's not a show I won't admit I like...because well, all my friends know I watch it. Who really gives a fuck? ;) You have to be one shallow, shallow person to not like someone because of a show they watch.

And As told by Ginger (although I do'nt believe it comes on anymore) is a great show. It's actually one of those cartoons with a..well, actual plot. And 'good storylines' etc. Except for that summer camp episode/movie, which after the first watching was pretty gay. Seeing her pine over that dude.
