Guest Sturgis Posted March 30, 2005 Report Posted March 30, 2005 The town is sold out of the new portable gaming system, and Kenny has one but Cartman doesn't. Will their friendship survive?
kkktookmybabyaway Posted March 30, 2005 Report Posted March 30, 2005 LOL. I might have to stay up for this one...
Jericholic82 Posted March 30, 2005 Report Posted March 30, 2005 didnt we already see this with ocama game sphere/towlie? anyhow nice to see trey and matt continue to use current events for a spoof, thats how theyve got the simpsons and soon family guy again beat
kkktookmybabyaway Posted March 30, 2005 Report Posted March 30, 2005 I'm waiting for their take on Terri S...
Mik Posted March 30, 2005 Report Posted March 30, 2005 This sounds like it will be nothing like the Towlie episode, although I hope he makes a brief appearance.
razazteca Posted March 30, 2005 Report Posted March 30, 2005 I thought this episode was about killing Kenny again......but this time he goes to Heaven for a reason.
Placebo Effect Posted March 30, 2005 Report Posted March 30, 2005 I thought this episode was about killing Kenny again......but this time he goes to Heaven for a reason. Yeah. I just saw the advertisement.
BlackFlagg Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 I'm waiting for their take on Terri S... Looks like ya just got your answer
2GOLD Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 I've caught Last Starfighter with a twist, Lord of the Rings of course and KEANU REEVES! "What's the point, they have a Keanu Reeves" That cracked me up.
Guest Askewniverse Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 "We'll do what we always do...use the Republicans."
2GOLD Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 I gotta say, this has been one hilarious season. Just when I thought this show was losing it, they have recovered very well. Keanu Reeves statue, hilarious.
Gary Floyd Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 Loved the angel constantly sniffing the marker. This show is just pure genous. If you didn't like this episode, then I'm sorry, but you have no soul. Or at least no sense of humor.
Mik Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 "The greatest battle of all time is about to take place... to see which side can get the most media attention." "I found the paper. It says... If I'm ever in a vegetative state, please, for the love of God, don't show me on National TV." Matt and Trey always seem to deliver the perfect punchline. It was just perfect.
Vyce Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 It WAS perfect. God, when their social satire really hits, it's out of the fucking park.
Skywarp! Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 True. This episode was one of the best in a while. Unfortunately, most of the time the show, as one critic put it, is "frustratingly uneven". I think that comes with writing episodes in a matter of days, but then they'd never get so much timely stuff in it.
Ravenbomb Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 Loved the angel constantly sniffing the marker. This show is just pure genous. If you didn't like this episode, then I'm sorry, but you have no soul. Must be Japanese
kkktookmybabyaway Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 Did they even talk about the PSP (I fell asleep early -- I'll catch it this weekend...)
Angel_Grace_Blue Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 Yeah. Kenny's will stated that since Eric is a loser and will die alone and friendless, he gets the PSP.
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 I thought it was great too, but the not so subtle jabs at Star Wars, The Matrix and of course LOTR didn't need that "WOW this is ten times bigger than the battle in lord of the rings movie!" I think their satire of LOTR was enough without that line hammering the point home.
Angel_Grace_Blue Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 "Hash kash kash kash" "No, you don't say that part. Kash hash kash kash." "I'm breaking up with you, Kevin!" Unrelated note/question/thought/whatever - With Garrison a woman, and him not liking women, does this mean the end for Mr. Slave?
LatinAssasin Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 Unrelated note/question/thought/whatever - With Garrison a woman, and him not liking women, does this mean the end for Mr. Slave? Well, they broke up in the episode where the operation took place. Haven't seen him since.
