Michaels Superkicked Jannetty and then picked him up and threw him through the window. Didn't Shawn himself say that in a promo with Jeff Hardy where Shawn was saying how in order to do something extrondinary in order to get noticed he superkicked his partner into a window Here is another one, Andre The Giant passing on soon after WM III which Hogan seems to think (he said it in that A&E special) Okay, around 6 years isn't too long, but its long enough to not be considered "soon after" or "right after" That may have been his last "big time match" (err not counting his win the next year and their "rematch" of course) but also not the end of his career
Some Guy Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 Shawn may have said that but he also claimed in 2003 that he was in the WWF for 20 years and that he and HHH's feud was nearly ten years in the making when he had been in the WWF for 14 years and HHH had only been in the WWF for 8 and they weren't even on screen partners until Sept. 97, which was 6 years. HBK can be slightly delusional at times, in case you hadn't noticed. I think Booker and Benoit's "Best of Seven" was actually nine matches, not 8, but I could be wrong. People, marks especially always get dates and such wrong, so that type of thing is not really worth mentioning. Like the Hogan heel speech on Nitro being the week after BatB, which I had forgotten about until I found the tapes a few weeks ago. The show after BatB saw the Outsiders doing shit like putting an nWo logo over the big metal WCW one on top of the arena at Disney and invading the production truck, I think.

In a complicated retcon involving a massive Jungian hallucination on the part of the fans, Flair's Rumble win was spliced together from previous months' tapes, and he was handed the title during a small backstage ceremony. (Flair's drunken staggering was later used, as a rib, in the Rumble 'footage.' Heenan played it off like he was selling his fatigue, when in fact he was just smashed and nearly naked.) Thanks for finally clearing that up. I had always been suspicious of that match. Great job by Heenan on the cover-up.

The internet wrestling scene was in an uproar, saying "WCW better not have Sting descend from the rafters at Slamboree", as he recently had just started doing again for the first time since Owen's death. Sting did not descend from the rafters at Slamboree. In the RSPW year-end awards for 2000, number 11 on the "Worst Promotional Move" list: "WCW has Sting drop from the rafters in Kemper Arena".

Its was three-all going into the final match on Thunder, but the nWo interfered to help Benoit win as they were trying to recruit him but when Benoit saw the replay he demanding that that match be counted null and void and they have a final match on PPV. That's how it went down as far as I remember In the clip with HHH dropping a guy on his head with a sick pedigree, people think it's HBK in the ring with him. Indeed, its Marty Gardner who used to wrestle for OMEGA and later went on to be one of the Dupp Brothers.

WM 1 was a Pay Per View Hogan won the WWE title in his first match in his return (1983) Hogan vs. Jarrett at BATB 2000 was a shoot. No it was a work. Russo's interview was a shoot.
