Angel_Grace_Blue Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 So, I was watching Blade Trinity (I think I was tricked, or something), and kind of liked the knife on a bit of string thingy he had at the beginning, but I never saw it afterwards (Then again, I wasn't paying too much attention. There was a bug crawling on the carpet that had my interest, too.) Basically, as the title says, what are some awesometastic weapons, gadgets, characters, whatever from TV/movies that get little screen time?
The Ill One Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 I just saw Blade Trinity a few nights ago too. Hoo hah... I guess that knife on a rope (which was awesome) got lost in the explosion?
Guest Mosaicv2 Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 The things in Inspector Gadget's coatpockets... or and what's in his pants, i'm mean come on... we saw what comes out in each of the other parts of his body (head, arms, wrist and legs). Then let's see it! And also Batman didn't use much of the gadgets his used in the movie than the show.
razazteca Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 Didn't Star Trek IV use the slingshot around the sun?
Nighthawk Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 The Predator's frisbee blade. It was pretty heavily featured, but I only remember him actually throwing it once. Actually, all the Predator's weapons were underused, except the shoulder cannon. His wrist blades are probably the best weapons ever. Superman's reversal of time, which isn't exactly a gadget. Ren and Stimpy's History Eraser Button. Green Goblin's flash bomb which instantly skeletonizes and disintegrates people.
Guest Fook Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 I'm still upset there was no "Bond car" scene in Goldeneye. We got the introduction to the car where Q goes over all the gadgets, but it's never used.
MrRant Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 Didn't Star Trek IV use the slingshot around the sun? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah. But it's only been used that one time.

Guest jm29195 Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 And also Batman didn't use much of the gadgets his used in the movie than the show In all of the batman movies all of Batman's vehicles apart from the Batmobile have got a nasty tenedency of getting totally destroyed with only a couple of minutes worth of use....
Special K Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 Boy, it's a good thing he had a big pair of electric shears on his bat-plane in the 1st Burton movie isn't it? I bet he felt really vindicated when they were so useful.
Black Lushus Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 that's funny, I watched Batman again a couple days ago and was just tellingmyself how convenient it was that he had a pair of clippers strategically placed at the front of the plane...
Ripper Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 The Superman Time thing was the worst one though. Zod and friends kicking your ass? Why not turn back time to before they were there and get the drop on them? I mean seriously. Or, you could fuck who ever you wanted and go back a day and they wouldn't remember. Lois couldn't get pissed.
The Dames Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 The Batman movie from the 60's with Adam West. Shark Repellant. That is all. Dames

Yes a long on but a plain gun nonetheless. Unless the gun was suppose to the special and they did a bad job of showing it. But, I think I remember reading, wasn't there a writers strike at the time and Burton and Keaton pretty much had to write a few of the scenes on the fly.

The Dames Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Yeah....who expects to be bitten by a shark and is fully prepared to use Shark Repellant that you just HAPPEN to have there with you.... and it was a MECHANICAL FUCKING SHARK! Gotta love it. Dames
