Spaceman Spiff Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 What happens now all depends on how they want to book, long term or short term. If I was gonna book long term, Batista would win at HIAC and be sent to Smackdown. Short term, I'd have HHH win and send him to Smackdown. HHH and Cena do have some heat, so odds are they'll do the short term thing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But then you'd have 2 World champs on Raw, and none on SD. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which just reverts back to JBL, who can still hold the WWE title belt if he wants to evidently. (even though Cena won it back) Or, Teddy can award, have a tourny for a belt like Eric did. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1) Why would it revert back to JBL? Where's the precedent for that. Furthermore, Long isn't the type of GM to name JBL champ just because they need one. 2) SD just ran a tournament to find Cena's challenger. It'b be too soon (IMO) to run another one.
CanadianChris Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Guys, Cena is INSANELY over. There's no way Vince would be that fucking idiotic to bury him because Triple H has heat with him. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> HHH has heat with him? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Matter of time, with the reaction Cena got.
Matt Young Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 That was fucking awesome. If I still lived in Illinois, i would be there now, too. Even though it fucks Smackdown hard, I marked out like a bitch. I know I'm late and someone has probably said it already, but Batista has to switch shows on the last night of the draft (night after Vengeance) at the Raw/SD supershow in Anaheim, which I will be attending.
Dimensions Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 HHH's beef with Cena is that he think he isn't Champion material nor does he think his head is in the business.
Downhome Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 When was the last time a WWE creation got a reaction like Cena tonight?
Styles Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 I'm thinking Batista gets drafted to Smackdown, Bischoff blows a gasket over it and is forced to trade Cena back to Smackdown to get back Batista. At least I hope that's what happens because this makes no sense at all. Smackdown just lost it's only star. Cena was connection with the Smackdown audience and felt like a big star. Now he'll be a fish a large pond (HHH).
Kahran Ramsus Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 When was the last time a WWE creation got a reaction like Cena tonight? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not counting Rock?
Anakin Flair Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Was Regal ever in ECW? Or am I just remembering his Pillman Show match?
Downhome Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 When was the last time a WWE creation got a reaction like Cena tonight? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not counting Rock? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep. I can't really think of any, not a single one. That is why I don't think they would just pull the plug on Cena. WWE created this character, the fans love him, and they are now going all the way with it, for better or for worse.
CanadianChris Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Was Regal ever in ECW? Or am I just remembering his Pillman Show match? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No.
haws bah gawd Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 So do we get a Regal heel turn for the sake of an ECW invasion?
DangerousDamon Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Why did they just randomly turn Regal heel? Then again, this is WWE we're talking about.
iliketurtles Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 If ECW shows up during the contract signing....that would be the greatest thing ever.
CanadianGuitarist Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Even as a mark, I didn't get pumped over Tajiri chanting ECW. The crowd didn't pop, either. Bad sign, as Tajiri WAS ECW.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Austin is going to hear Hassan's grievance? Hmm. Oh I wonder what will happen...?
Conspiracy_Victim Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Stone Cold's back. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Guess who's back Back again Stone Cold's back Tell a friend
CanadianGuitarist Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 I'm also not that overwhelmed by the concept of Austin being on Raw next week either. Does it seem to anyone else that he comes back far too often?
DMann2003 Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Well there goes Hassan's chance of EVER getting over, eh he sucked anyway, keep Davari away and give him the push
Fro Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 When was the last time a WWE creation got a reaction like Cena tonight? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not counting Rock? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep. I can't really think of any, not a single one. That is why I don't think they would just pull the plug on Cena. WWE created this character, the fans love him, and they are now going all the way with it, for better or for worse. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The other thing is they invested all that money filming the Marine, starring Cena. They're not going to piss that away just to please HHH.
Spaceman Spiff Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Hell, if you're going to just dick around w/ Hassan and not actually push him, might as well go all the way and have Austin punk him out.
AlaskanHero Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Too bad the Rock's off doing his thing in Hollywood. He (probably) would've gotten a bigger pop and made for a more entertaining segment.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 If ECW shows up during the contract signing....that would be the greatest thing ever. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which would allow Batista to go to SD, which would piss off Bischoff even more.
CanadianChris Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 What do you mean, "finally?" He was in a wrestling match 2 weeks ago...did they forget about Stevie that fast?
