Matt Young 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2005 Oh yeah, throw my name in for X-Men Legends as well, that little game was awesome. Can't wait till the end of the year for the sequel. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I really liked the game, seeing as how I'm a big beat-em-up fan and I loved the X-Men as a kid, but if the game didn't have the X-Men license, it would be merely mediocre. I still haven't finished it... I got 7 and a half hours in, but now I'll try to pick it up again and I can't get into it. I may have to restart it. I just have so many games I need to do that with, most notably Resident Evil 4, which may have been my answer here had I played more than 2 and a half hours. Ced 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2005 Do you actually enjoy horse racing in general or do you just enjoy that particular game? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm slightly apathetic to actual horse racing, but I enjoy horse racing games. I even play Derby Owner's Club in the arcade on occasion. Same goes for football; Don't really watch it, but I play the games.
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2005 hmmm, I would say either espn nfl 2k5, all star baseball 2005, espn mlb 2k5, or gta:sa. special mention to smackdown: hctp and simpsons hit and run. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> All Star 2005 is incredibly underrated. Expansion mode is remarkably cool. yea the expansion mode is really cool. you can choose mascots and logos and from a bunch of cities and stadiums. Damn I have to go back and finish my ASB expansion season(as, get this, The Edmonton Fury, no reason for choosing the city, I just thought it would be funny to have a baseball team there and I guess as a tribute to Benoit) , as I have been busy with mlb 2k5

Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2005 Dynasty Warriors series, specifically 4 & 5. I love a whole host of games, but nothing keeps me coming back continuously (and buying all the cash-in spin-offs like X-Treme Legends and Empires) like Dynasty Warriors done. Just plain fun. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which one is the beat-em-up packaged inside the game?
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2005 Resident Evil 4, easily the best Gamecube Game to date. I also liked Metroid Prime 2 and Simpsons Hit and Run (I got it last year, does it count as in the last 2 years?), which is about as close as any gamecube owner is going to get to a GTA game. AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 Speaking of KOTOR, I am really enjoying the first one, is the second just as good? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> From almost all accounts I've ever heard, no. I've repeatedly heard it's a half-assed job from a different company as the original KOTOR.
El Psycho Diablo 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 While some parts did get cut, the second game is just as good as the first. The influence system with the characters is great, and there's a bit more freedom in making character choices this time. The gameplay also feels a lot more refined, IMO. You'll want to get the PC version, though, because there's a group of moddders restoring the "lost" content, because it was left in the game files.
dutchse.cx 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 In no particular order ... Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time / Warrior Within God of War Katamari Damacy Best Absolutely Everything - Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Also, if you think Dynasty Warriors 5 is a good game, it would be about 10 times better if they had adapted the experience, skills, mission, and weapon systems from Samurai Warriors: Xtreme Legends into it. Trust me.
Open the Muggy Gate 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 I was gonna type GTA: San Andreas in here, but I've recently started to play the Ratchet and Clank series. I must say, I'm very impressed. I haven't enjoyed a platform game in a long damn time, but I am LOVING this game. For a game that came out in 2002, the first one looks VERY impressive. Ratchet has gotta be my favorite for the past two years.

The first R&C flew under my radar too, but I picked up in the wake of Going Commando, and I love the games. Hell, even Mike loves 'em. The Jaks aren't even in the same galaxy, IMO. Anya 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2005 KOTOR II isn't as good as the original but it's still great. It's pretty much more of the same, but just really sloppy and rushed. A shame.
