I think wwe fuckef up making Hassan lose so quick to John Cenal and clean. Hassan had a good gimmick and alot to bitch about which made it so much better. Now he can not make up any reasons to why he lost to Cena and can not say he has never lost.

This was the wrong move if you ask me. Also the match could had gona a little longer.

It was wrong for so many reasons. I was actually talking to a friend of mine on AIM about this conversation right now.

Hassan and Daivari getting drafted to Smackdown makes it even worse! Hassan needed the boost before jumping ship. Cena and Hassan could've had a nice match where they both looked strong and credible.

It's like, WWE knew a PPV was this Sunday. They knew that Cena was in a big time match and that they had to keep him strong for the match. The problem was it seems that they forgot that they've been building up Hassan for six months.

All this does is make the casual fans view Hassan as more of a midcarder. He gives Shelton constant pressure in their matches and almost wins the IC title. Yet, when he goes for a "real" belt, he gets straight squashed.

It just doesn't make sense.

He could had lost by DQ atleast or he could have gave Cena a fight before losing.

I think the whole idea of a Cena-Hassan match was dumb to begin with. We've already been over how they wasted Hassan's big loss on Cena, who doesn't need it since he's already over. The other option was to do a no contest or DQ ending. I guess the best option would have been to have either Jericho or Christian randomly run in and attack Cena, but we've seen them protect Hassan like that too many times this year. It really made no sense at all.

Spoiler tags in a Hassan thread certainly do not give away the fact that he's gonna be on Smackdown. Nope.

Keep the spoilers out please and keep it to what happen on Raw

There was a lot of choices made in regards to Raw that in hindsight, look very stupid. The Hassan bit was just one of them. Hassan didn't need to lose cleanly. Hell, they have a PPV this sunday, why not Cena by DQ because of outside interference from Christian and Jericho? Then there is a story there for Sunday because it'll reinforce Cena having to deal with 2 guys who might or might not be on the same page.

Carlito beating Shelton with no build up was dumb as well. They should've had a verbal altercation ending with a Carlito beatdown and him spitting apple all over Shelton and then Shelton demanding a match for Sunday. Creative has it all bass-ackwards.

Considering right after the match there was a run in on Cena, it just made the loss make less sense. That alone RUINED the whole show for me at that point, and I didn't watch any more of it, only listened in the background. I couldn't understand AT ALL why they would have Hassan lose in the fashion that he did to CENA. Nothing was to be gained out of it for him. One last DQ finish to protect Hassan, OR DON'T PUT HIM IN THE MATCH AT ALL. He was fueding with Benjamin up until that point, why the hell didn't they just switch segments with bringing Carlito out for Cena, and Hassan out for Benjamin? It would've made more sense. Carlito/Cena already have a history together, you have them fight, or better yet, have Carlito say he'll debut the Cabana on RAW, with Cena as his guest, again, and then have Jericho run in, and then eventually Christian. Carlito runs out unscathed, and you get the same effect. Set up Hassan/Benjamin as a match for the show, do the DQ finish, set up a match at Vengeance for Hassan/Benjamin, and maybe have Hassan get drafted to SD or something just to make it interesting. He can come out bitching again that he was cheated out of his IC title match, just to introduce the "Smackdown crowd" to what he's about, and then have Long come out and say some bullshit loopole that he can still have his match since it was set up while he was a RAW guy, have the blowoff match at the PPV, end it, and continue from there. And if they were in such a rush to get the belt off Shelton, they could just have him lose it the next night to Carlito, and go from there. They could still say he won the IC title in his first match, so if they were looking to run the US title storyline from a year ago, but with a different belt on a different show, they could still do so, and it looks bigger because Shelton just got off a big PPV win and just lost it just like that. No one is made to look weak, the same effect is gotten across, and most importantly, AGAIN, NO ONE LOOKS WEAK. Hassan's push isn't fucked up, Benjamin's reign is ended so fucking randomly, and things move along the same way. Shit.

Hassan was built up for nothing after what happen on Raw. Shelton could had lost the title at a ppv rather then a Raw show. I mean he was fuckin champion for a long time.

It was even more dumb that it was Carlito and not Haas. Hell, you could even hear people in the crowd yelling it out beforehand.

I totally agree. I actually watched that segment of the show live and thought it was Haas as well. I would've loved to see a Haas vs. Benjamin program for the IC title throughout the summer culminating in a 2 out of 3 falls match at Summerslam or something. I don't hate Carlito or anything, but if you are gonna max out your best potential matches and feuds, they had one with Haas and Benjamin.

Haas vs Shelton should be saved for a Wrestlemania match. Also Haas needs to become a better singles wrestler and get more over with the fans. Teaming with Hardcore Holly wont get him far.

I think Haas is a fine singles wrestler right now. He just needs to be given a storyline to make the fans actually care about him. They could've brought him to Raw this past Monday and simply had Bischoff make a match between TWGTT and another team. From there, just have Haas go the jealous route and do a vicious beatdown on Benjamin to set up a feud. It would make sense for him to be jealous since while Benjamin was having singles success on Raw (wins over HHH, IC Title, etc.), Haas was teaming with Rico and Hardcore Holly and doing ultimately nothing. Have him win some mid-card matches leading up to Summerslam where they have a match for the IC Title where Haas is the one to cleanly beat Shelton. But, that's not happening anytime soon.

While we are fantasy booking...

If Haas were the one to come over, they could reunite TWGTT and have them defeat Hurricane and Rosey for the tag titles. That would leave Shelton with 2 belts. Then start you could have a "friendly" competition for the IC title, with Shelton winning the first match and Haas growing a bit jealous about it. The jealousy of not being able to defeat Benjamin would start the rift that will eventually split the team...

meanwhile, the devastating loss of the tag titles changes Hurricane and Rosey from comic book hero faces to comic book villain heels. They could come off like arch criminals or something. It'd at least be a change of pace for them and hopefully catch on. Who knows?

Dude, it's freakin' Hassan. Who cares? What possible rub could he have given? He was booked as a midcarder, and never beat anybody cleanly of note. All his heat was cheap heat. He's awful in the ring. Nobody cared about his unpinned streak, especially since he has numerous losses already. It's not like the WWE would have made huge star out of whoever finally beat him.

I was expecting a longer match or at least a match that didnt involve the Cena Cliche Moves.

Expectations lead to disappointment.

I shouldnt act suprised though, if this were baseball then I'd have gone through a box of pencils just trying to tally the errors.

Probably, but they didn't even try.

However, odd that they have kept the Masterlock Challenge going, since I'd have figured they'd blow it off first.

Of course, they don't do it every week anyway, and maybe they'll kill it next Raw.

They had started that on SD before Benjamin left, so that would be a good bit of continuity there. The E wouldnt notice that though.

Regarding the midcard, you have to look after them regardless of who they are if you want to develop anything.

It was cheap heat... but it was a LOT of cheap heat. The moment his music hit, those people would just start booing like crazy. They did that past week on RAW big time. Everywhere he goes, he's a heat magnet. He could get any opponent to be face against him and give them plenty of face heat. Sometimes, cheap heat is the best heat.

Regarding the Shelton/Haas situation I like the idea of them winning the tag titles together but, since we're all hot for ECW, why not rehash the Storm/Candido angle of having a singles match against each other after defending the tag titles. It's been done before but it's not exactly well-known.

Haas / Shelton is a Wrestlemania type match. Why have the match not when it can mean so much more and go down in history at a Wrestlemania? I wonder whats next for Hassan.
