The best signs ever

Recommended Posts

and of course the "GOAR!" one that Scott Keith has used as a running gag for years.

There was once a sign that said "Kirt Stop Your Crying" during an Angle promo

Angle went "This state has never been associated with winners" cut to sign, JR quips "Or Good Spellers"

F*CK THE FCC! is my favorite.

(During the Booker/Edge match at WM 18): They're fighting over shampoo!

Syxx lyxx dyxx

And for signs that are so bad/markish you can't help but laugh...

(On last week's SD): Eddie, stop blackmailing Rey.

Like the countless "why shawn?" signs I saw on RAW.

I remember there was once like a hundred people in a row holding up letters that spelled out the New Age Outlaws' entire entrance promo.

One of my favorites was from back in the days of Nitro.

A fan brought a huge board that said

"My favorite Wrestler Is"

and underneath he had a attached a huge name flipper with about 20 names. Everytime a wrestler came out he had that name up for the camera. Such names included Meng, Kwee Wee, and my favorite The Wrestler Formerly Known As Prince Iaukea.

Invasion also had a great sign where it said I love the Olsen Twins. They were what 15 then? Slightly creepy.

That's fantastic. I bet Alan Funk went home that night with a smile on his face, as that was the first and last time he ever saw or heard that directed towards him.

Ha, I'm so doing that next time I go to a televised event.

Other good signs:

X-pac 3:16 says "I'm Boring"

Raw Spoiler: HHH wins

"Push HHH" was the most recent good sign I can remember.

A couple years back there was a long white cardboard sign labelled 'Rikishi's toilet paper'.

On the night of the Billy/Chuck wedding there was a guy with a sign that said "Hot Tag." In every tag match that evening he'd raise the sign whenever a hot tag was about to occur and kept it up until it was over.

i remember a couple of years ago there was some political manifestation or protest or something like that and a "X-Pac sucks" sing was visible at one point, that was funny.

also, "HHH fears Divorce"

The week after Vince pissed his pants thanks to Stalker Austin, a fan held up a huge sign that said "Hey Vince, Urine Trouble!"

I will never forget that, and it appears on Best of Raw 1 for me to always pop in and have a good laugh at.

"WrestleMania XX Spoiler: HHH WINS" was pretty funny when it first appeared. Of course over a year later someone on IRC still has it in her quit message and I find it very irritating since he did end up doing the job.

HAHAHA....that's awesome.

On that note, there also have been REALLLLY long "WHOOOOOO" signs over the past two years or so. The RAW three weeks ago with Angle/Flair had one that stretched across a good forty seats or so.

Yea, the Wrestlemania XX Spoiler: HHH wins is one of my favourites.

As is, They're fighting over shampoo!

I'd love to see someone bring this sign:

PICK UP THE PHONE TYSON

The "Meltzer LOVES this!" sign during the Regal-Benoit match was GOLD.

As was the 'spinaroonie' sign that was just a picture of Booker T kneeling that the guy spun around.

During the Monday Night Wars, seeing 'Other Channel Jackass' on Nitro was really awesome.

Dude you beat me to it with the Melzter sign! I thought it was great too.

Of course the classic "I'm taping Raw or Nitro (depending on which show the person was attending)

I went to the WWA revolution PPV in Las Vegas back in 02. Before the show they actually handed out signs. No one brought sings, then again not too many people actually bought a ticket as they had to heavily paper them to get even a decent crowd.

Anyhow they handed me a sign that read "Disco Inferno Rocks The house" now while I was offended that they tried to plant a sign with me, I took it anyhow, figuring I could right on the back. So I did and cake up with "They gave me this sign". Of course I also held up the other dumb side so maybe theyd catch me on TV. They also handed out other classics like "WWA: World's Wildest Animals" and "Bret Hart: All Heart"

I remember someone had a sign during a Raw in Oklahona were it said something to the effect of "Nothing good happens to JR here"

Sure enough he gets attacked during the show. For some reason that cracked me up.
